It's actually bad for Browns fans. The only sensible way to move on from Watson was to tank and get a high draft pick for a QB. If Jameis comes in and wins games, that won't happen.

DTR is still good enough to beat the Bengals.

Zac Taylor is an awful play caller and will continue to have Burrow drop back and get sacked, especially with them missing their starting LT. Bengals will continue to struggle to move the ball.

There's a reason Zac Taylor is 3-7 all time against the Brownies.

Really, they shouldn't draft a rookie QB, cause all that cap being taken up by him means you're just knee-capping your ability to field a good team around a rookie to develop him right. Maybe they draft one and have him sit for a year, but it'd still be at best like a 72 million dollar cap hit in 2026 if you cut Watson.
