Yeah either Jags or Bears, he chooses somewhere that has a quarterback

I’d really like to see Pete Carroll take that Bears job. I have a feeling he’s going to choose the Raiders though. There’s still a good chance that Mike McCarthy ends up with the Bears.

So...not the Jags then?

AFC South isn't as competitive as the NFC North, which had the other 3 teams have double-digit wins.

I don't think having to share space with Trent Baalke is all that appealing. But I could be wrong. I could see him going to the Raiders assuming he gets to pick his own GM.

Bears or Raiders.

If he takes the Bears job. I see Carroll landing in Vegas.

Bears
Jags
Jets
Raiders
Saints

Patriots hired Vrabel. Which leaves 5 openings.

That's really the only problem with the Jags

Allegedly Shad would be willing to fire Baalke for the right coach, but I don't know

I think with as picky as he's been, he wouldn't take the Raiders job because of how much work they need as well as not having a QB and not being in position to get one in the draft

I think most likely scenario is he goes back to Detroit for another year.

Looks like McCarthy is officially out Cowboys coach. So who’s up next? Sark? Gruden? Pederson?

That’s great news
Qb eagles might think three 12 and 5 records was great but real fans want more.

There’s a good chance Jerry plucks his boy Kellen Moore off of Philly’s staff to be the new Cowboys HC.

Why would you want any of those guys?

Sark is set in college. While Gruden & Pederson are both retreads who wouldn't be upgrades over what you already had.

Jerry is making the right decision to let McCarthy go. But he can't follow it up by making a poor choice in the next HC.

He will. I’m confident in his ability to make poor choices.

492 coaches left to choose from.

Pete Carroll!

Actually I know the perfect candidate for such a fine organization:

Who said anything about me wanting these guys. These are the types of guys Jerry hires. Out of everyone out there the prime candidates (for Jerry) are Kellen Morore, Doug Pederson, Mike Zimmer, Jon Gruden and Sark.

Sark’s season is over by the way. Jerry is not going to hire the young up and coming Coordinator (except for Moore for the obvious reasons). I think he would have made a run at Belichick but that ended before he got the chance.

Pete Carroll would never agree to work for Jerry. He doesn’t need the aggravation.

100%

Pete has a CEO approach. The only reason he took the Seattle job was because he got to pick his own GM. He had final say over all decision making. We know that wouldn't happen in Dallas. Pete loves coaching. But he would rather stay retired before agreeing to coach for Jerry.

Yeah those are all terrible choices. İ don't see what's so appealing about Sark either, he got some success through recruiting but his schemes leave a lot to be desired.

Sounds like Jerry was willing to re-sign MM but for fewer years than MM wanted.
