Difference here is Shedeur has yet to get drafted.

Don't think I've ever seen such a collective, league-wide middle finger towards a player as we are seeing now with Shedeur. Those pre-draft interviews have to be legendarily horrendous. Release the tapes!

It probably would have happened with Manziel, too, if Haslam hadn't decided to overrule his front office and coaching staff.

Does Dallas have intentions on switching to a 3-4 ? If not why would they draft another 240 pound DE after watching how Parsons seems to wear down at times from leaning up against 320 pound tackles over and over . I thought they should have did that a long time ago . So I’m kind of being sarcastic about the pick only because I know Jerry isn’t smart enough to make a pre emptive pick like this knowing he was switching defenses . But it would have been awesome lol

Dabol was scared to draft Sanders because if they win 5games all you’re gonna hear about is how he will be fired and Prime would take the Giants job . Which I actually thought was going to happen . I didn’t count on the coach saying no go . But I think this is the case with a lot of coaches now . I definitely think if Prime was not a coach Sanders would have been drafted already

I read an article that said he took a personal face time call from someone during a team interview and completed the call...lol

He's basically the complete opposite of 'team first' and everything coaches are against. Hurts would be a good role model for him but I think he ends up Pittsburgh with Aaron Rodgers

I think (hope) Jerry makes a move for Shedeur at 146, or whatever pick they had left. Match made in heaven. He was all in on Manziel as well, until his son talked him out of it.

Deion is one of the biggest Divas of all time but problem is, he’s also one of the best players of all time so teams were willing to put up with his ****. Shedeur is coming in already acting like deion, but he isn’t Deion..lol

I don’t blame teams for not wanting to be a part of that **** show. He hired a camera crew for draft day so is he creating like his own reality tv show? Not sure any team would be willing to do that. And Deion straight up saying he won’t let Shedeur go to certain teams? Yeah.. **** weird.. And this is the predraft process so this is them on their “best behavior”…lol

I also was thinking about whether or not I’d be willing to watch him develop on and off the field behind hurts but honestly I think they would be a huge cancer in the locker room so it’s not even worth it in my opinion. I say “they” because if you draft shedeur you also get deion.

And as crazy as it might sound, Deion is starting to sound like a worse version of Lavar Ball. At least deion has some career achievements though unlike Lavar who claims to be able to beat Michael Jordan 1on1 lolll

Well he can learn a lot from Hurts...especially when it comes to humility. Hurts went thru the biggest adversity possible in life and came out the other side. He is the ultimate warrior. If anyone can do it, it's Hurts and Sanders can be a good backup in this league potentially.

I like Pittsburgh for him though because Tomlin has no fear of Deion and can handle it (if he wants too)

The most surprising thing about this whole thing is you would have thought there would be more than one team who reached out to Sanders and said 'I am taking you if you drop here' which is common. If they never got a promise or anything I don't know why they built a draft room, live stream, etc. Unless a team lied to him.

I agree on the first part about hurts but problem is in one ear he’s gonna have Jalen and in the other ear he’s gonna have deion. He could improve his demeanor dramatically or he could have a negative effect on hurts to the point where hurts doesn’t want to be part of it anymore. I don’t think hurts (or others on the team) deserves that headache. I just don’t think it’s worth it.

The eagles have 3 Super Bowl appearances and 2 rings in the last 8 years and team chemistry is a big part of that. If the eagles are willing to draft shedeur then I think they also need to be very willing to cut him if/when he gets out of line and they need to tell him that up front.

Let's say Hurts went through the biggest adversity possible in sports, because I'm pretty sure there's worse adversity in life. ;)

I said in this thread that Shedeur hired a camera crew, but that was just speculation. Fact is he was/is livestreaming the draft, but the people recording it might be do it for free. Shedeur has made a ton of money so far from media exposure, so I don't think he even really thought about the decision to do his own livestream much. That's just a business decision for him. But NFL teams are obviously wary about draftees doing this excessive amount of self-promotion. Once you're a great player in the NFL, they'll tolerate it.

Yeah, nobody wants this kind of distraction for a backup QB.
