The Seahawks don't have a superstar and are a west coast team that doesn't have a legacy of success or a big national fanbase. They are not getting any more under-appreciated than it is normal for a team under the same circumstances. Having said all that, the media has considered them contenders all year long and at many times, they've been considered the best team in football. The naional media is always going to obsess about hall of fame QBs and big franchises, but that shouldn't really come off as a jab at Seattle.

Either way, I was rooting for Seattle and Denver yesterday. IDK who to root for now since I want Payton to get his second, but I am always one to want franchises and fans to get their first. Should be a good one

You're making my point for me here. The San Antonio Spurs are comparatively ignored by the media in the same way.

What Sherman did will be forgotten about soon until the next niners game. Winning championships is what brings attention to your city.

Belichick who never cries about it, just tore welker for a deliberate hit on talib to take him out of the game. I'll wait to see the replay

Not true. Sherman doing such a thing, being who he is, will most certainly draw more attention to Seattle in the next few weeks. The media will be all over him, and Seattle in turn. We will get much more media run than when we went to the Super Bowl 8 years ago, and Sherman will play a role in that.

As you should, I have no problem with the interview I'm just already sick of the reactions to it. Either one side of the fence is blasting him, or the other side is over praising him like he is this prophet.

That's what happens with such a provocative figure. Muhammed Ali kind of set the modern standard for such a thing. That Mae West line comes to mind for me when she said the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.

Good grief. Could you make "bandwagon" more obvious?

Aw how cute, I remember hearing banwagon jokes like that a few years ago "when it was actually original"...*Yawns* but I feel your pain man. There hasn't been too much Magic going around in Orlando ever since Dwight left. So yea, that automatically gives the right to come on here with stereotypical comments as you've provided in your post. If you could actually bring some facts to your logic about how i'm a bandwagon fan and give me an actual "original" response other than the typical "Your'e a fan of two teams winning, hey your'e a bandwagoner" nonsense then i'll take you serious...You & that ATL fan comments makes it so easy for me to make y'all look dumb but i'm not going to hand out real life stories on a forum

Was that Red Sox joke intended to be funny? I don't even watch Baseball. Never watched it or never played it. I don't even know how many championships the Red Sox have. I mean i could easily look it up on wikipedia, their teams website, yahoo, Google, etc. but i just don't give two **** about baseball or anything baseball related...Sorry to all the Red Sox fans reading this comment btw, nothing against your team or their fans because i've never watched a game or don't know any of the players, coaches, etc...But back to Mr. Know it all, I just find it to be a pretty queer sport honestly and if I was forced to watch NHL or MLB, I would probably watch NHL and that's saying something.

But enjoy the And 1's from that Lakers fan that randomly came on here yesterday and became a Seahawks fan & that butt-hurt Cowboys (Girls) fan that's still salty over my joke made about his precious Romo

^ watched the game. clear foul by welker, refs missed it. but i think there was no intention from welker's side to hurt talib. just a hard foul imo

A player can talk as much trash as he wants, on the field. But in a post game interview one should always conduct himself with professionalism. Sherman clearly let his emotions get the best of him; he should have collected himself emotionally and said the "right" thing. It's okay though, Manning is going to give him a good taste of humble pie in the championship game.

Don't forget losing to the Giants at home because of Kyle Williams.

From his story about his reaction after he tipped the game-clinching interception:

I ran over to Crabtree to shake his hand but he ignored me. I patted him, stuck out my hand and said, "Good game, good game." That's when he shoved my face, and that's when I went off.

his postgame interview w/ erin andrews was entirely reactionary

Watching these Seahawks gives me a lot of hope for my Rams next season. That team is stacked if it can get some borderline good qb play.

Quote for truth. Your Rams are loading up on young talent, and have a stockpile of draft picks forthcoming. As a Seahawk fan, I thought you guys had the scariest pass-rush we faced all season. The NFC West is going to be another slugfest next year, perhaps even more than this year. And the improving Rams will be a big part of that equation, I believe.

Few years ago? You've been on these forums for 3 months. :-?

And please enlighten us. How did you become a 49er/Heat fan? Why arent you a 49er/Warriors or Heat/Fins fan? You can't be older than 17. Most kids just jump on the most popular teams. Which would all make sense.

But please. Do tell. Can't wait to hear your elaborate story. Could use a good laugh....

Now that it's halftime, I'll respond to this...

They've had horrible luck the last few years

Wow, unbelievable and unwilling to accept the truth since 2004.

That's a 10 year string of bad luck? Or an unwillingness to recognize?

And all the Patriot fans know, this would not be the first year ive sang this tune. This would be goin on several years. The Patriots are finished. Done. But oh well, they will still need an 11th year to try to convince them.

They were a miracle play away from winning SBs in 2007 and 2011, what are you talking about?

A team that's ALWAYS in contention for the SB is not finished, sorry. You sound ridiculous.
