Looks like it’s not just Shedeur that got prank called but ofc media is hardly talking about that though.

I believe Tyler Warren was pranked too.

It was the 21 year old son of the Atlanta Falcons Defensive Coordinator. According to the dad he left his tablet out that had all the players phone numbers (all have a separate phone with a private number that only the teams are supposed to have access to). The Falcons have already put out an apology letter. Not sure if their DC will lose his job over this or not though.

"Cruel" is a bit of an exaggeration.

I dunno. As a former college coach .myself [no names], if you see the work these dudes put in for preparation of the game, draft etc...for a scrawny non athletic kid who looks as if he hasn't run a wind sprint in his life, maybe cruel is not the word, but it is fkd up at the very least.

I'll post this here since it's the only current active thread.

People get offended way too easily these days. Prank calling somebody at the draft is something that shouldn’t happen but people suggesting jail time and people getting fired over this is probably a bit too far. Shedeur probably doesn’t care, he was seen partying with celebrities after the draft and was flashing expensive jewelry and wads of cash.

If nothing else, at least it gave that camera crew that shedeur hired, something to film. They probably got bored of filming nothing but food and drinks for 3 days straight.

Not sure if it is fireable but I was a HC it would make me leery about giving this guy anything important. He’s likely to let it get in the wrong hands.

Here’s another one.

Why did he get multiple calls? He must’ve had a unique reaction that made these guys want to keep calling him. I wonder if there’s video/audio of howie calling him.

So I still think the browns had a bad draft. I think ownership forced their hand and it could be costly .

Bad because they draft 2 QB’s? How exactly did they have a bad draft?

Caleb Williams was kind of a weird player as well, and scouts overlooked it because he has talent.

I’m still trying to figure out what Sanders did that was so amazing. There’s plenty of QBs in the past who put up video games numbers and have gotten overlooked (Kase Keenum, Graham Harrell, Colt Brennan, Troy Smith, etc). Did he turned around a program? Colorado had a 3 win improvement followed by a 4 win improvement? Okay? Was it never done before? Does he have better pocket awareness? Eye test, not really; by the numbers it looks like he’d rather take a sack than lowering his completion percentage. He’s a high profiled college athlete with a famous father, that’s about it.

He reminded me Dennis Dixon or a watered down Geno Smith. He may get some starts, but I don’t think he’ll have a career like Smith or a Jamais Winston.

Plus they have that future 1st. It could be a huge haul.
