I think so too. I see the arm... and I see the presence. I see teammates that want to play for the kid. He definitely needs receivers that can actually catch and hold onto the damn ball and he needs a stud RB or at least one with a little more ability between the tackles.

The Eagles got their QB. There are going to be some battles between him and Dak the next 10 years or so.

The kid clearly has "it". The one thing Wentz really needs to work on is not putting himself in harms way. That guy has taken some pretty vicious shots this year. He just needs to realize that it's ok to slide.

Lets see how Wentz does vs. the Vikings. That will be a true test.

I'm mostly impressed with his work ethic, attention to detail and his CHARACTER !! No red flag here, which is a breathe of fresh air we don't get much of here in Bid - D.

Now that we have made it to our bye week, how much ground do we gain this week from the Giants, Foreskins and Egals?

Still think Eagles with Wentz are the most dangerous team in division. It's a long season. Cowboys season almost always turns out mediocre. Cowboys = 9-7 this year.

The Eagles be right there with the Cowboys all season. The division is going to come down to that last game. There's still a lot of football to be played though. A lot can happen between now and then. Will Wentz and Dak hit the rookie wall? Will Romo get the starting job back at some point? Still a long way to go.

We can agree to disagree I guess. I'm more worried about the Redskins. I'm not worried about the eagles at all.

I'm not convinced the Giants are as good as either the Eagles or Cowboys. Their OL is suspect and their run game is average at best.

I most certainly agree with that. You also left out how the giants spent around 200 million on a defense that had only 4 sacks going into last week.

Wentz was awful but it was nice to get the win. Pretty big game next Sunday night now.

Indeed. I cut Wentz a little slack. That was a pretty damn good defense he went up against today.

My take away from that game - it "looks" like my heroes may be able to run a little on your defense.

Every NFC East team is above .500 so far. I wonder when the last time that happened was?

It's good but prone to give up a big play here and there. We need Bennie Logan to be back if we're a chance at slowing down Zeke.
