This may come as a surprise to you, but teams tend to hold on to their best players.

Give me one reason why the Jets would agree to this trade that isn't wishful thinking on your part.

They are 0-7 and might just want picks and free cap space at this point to rebuild.

Teams that are winning and have a clear road to the playoffs would not let go of their stars. Teams that are already done might.

If we’re talking a trade with the Jets the only realistic one I could see is a trade for Breece Hall. He’d be a nice compliment to Javonte Williams.

Yeah Gardner could probably fetch a first plus another high pick in the open market. I am rebuilding so let me sell my ferrari for the price of a subaru lol.

If you are losing the race and paying Ferrari price, then yeah, might as well sell it while you can before it hits the open market.

That said I agree they probably would want a 1st and that is probably more than I'd be cool with.

Talk about Farrari prices. Eek! Totally worth it though.

Might be worth it for the player individually but I'd hate this type of team building. I thought Parsons trade was great for Cowboys because of the cap savings but turning around and spending that money on receivers kinda makes the trade moot. They are becoming poor man's Bengals.

Normally I would agree with you however at this point I have no expectations of them winning anything significant so they might as well be exciting to watch.

Source of the tweet: his agent.

Personally I'd be wary if a guy gets traded because of immaturity and unprofessionalism, but then gets his act together in what coincidentally is a contract year.

And what have we become the past year or so? A snooty (my crap doesn't stink and I'm better than you), all out Whiners fan to an anal retentive, low life, spitting Egals troll with no game left.

You sound clogged again. Might be time to introduce more fiber to that old people's tv dinner diet.

So what's your excuse for being anal retentive for 11 years? Has it been that long since you had a bowel movement. :gossip:

I dropped a rather nice glorious log other day, if you really must know. Mixed cup of roasted chickpeas and unsalted peanuts plus apricot juice does the job for me.

Actually I have been holding back for over a month, but I'm about to let the cat out of the bag at anytime. I've seen this act so many times over the past 29 years to fall for that crap ever again.

You saw how the highest paid player in the NFL comes to play against top teams once again. Its easy money.

And lets not forget the curse of Jerry. How is Jerry today? Was he upset after the game. It would make me real happy if Jerry was miserable after the game.

And I hope Jerry doesn't waste another draft pick before the trade dead line. Mr. B. is right, this defense will need more than one decent player to be half relevant. But Jerry will tell the young Cowboy generation fans he will do something before the dead line just to make them think he is really doing something so they keep buying seats, tickets and spending money.
But Jerry has always been an all in guy so throwing away a draft pick is right up his ally. And this generation of Cowboy fans won't do what it takes to remove Jerry from GM and all football related operations

How would Cowboys fans accomplish this? They aren't the Packers and the other owners ruled the Packers ownership model illegal.
