1. They reached on Mazi. The other NT Keeanu Benton was in my eyes much better value & has been a standout for Pittsburgh so far. PFF has him at a near 70 score. While Mazi has been well below average & just a disappointment for the most part.

2. The Cowboys we're kind of in a tough spot picking at the backend of the round. As this draft didn't have a ton of impact guys, especially in that range.

I thought they should’ve gone Brian branch or Nolan smith. Yes, Nolan smith hasn’t done that well so far but he also isn’t getting very many opportunities because the eagles are absolutely stacked at edge rusher right now. Branch on the other hand is having a good rookie season so far in Detroit.

Branch would've been a solid pick. I thought he was a 1st round talent.

Mazi probably went a round too early imo. Benton went at pick 50. That's likely the same range that Mazi should’ve been picked as well.

Well...it was only a matter of time before something popped up. We'll see how long the Eagles can keep him out of further trouble. If I was a Philly fan, I'd be legit worried about him during the offseason & when he's away from the team.

Honestly if stores like Target wouldn’t be trying to eliminate cashiers things like this wouldn’t happen. I seriously doubt an NFL player would be trying to steal anything from Target.

That has been out for almost a week now. First of all, target is going away from human cashiers, so self checkouts are more common now. So in other words, it’s not like he went to the self check out line to be sneaky and hopefully get away with only have of his order.

The way I interpret it is Jalen and his girlfriend were having an argument so were a bit distracted as they were scanning items and unintentionally didn’t scan everything that was put in their bag. It sounds like it wasn’t anything expensive, they just got mixed up with what was scanned and what wasn’t scanned. I’ve done that before myself, although I’ve also asked for assistance to make sure. Once Jalen and his girlfriend were confronted, they were annoyed at being accused of stealing. You gotta put yourself in Jalen’s shoes to understand his frustration. You think you’ve properly scanned and paid for everything, you’re a big black guy that also just so happens to be a multi millionaire, it could come off as racial profiling, which is annoying. Once Jalen was informed that everything wasn’t paid for, he corrected it by paying for everything, all 40 bucks worth. No report was officially filed as it was just a misunderstanding.

Right. I guess anything is possible, I just think it’s unlikely that a guy like Jalen Carter would be willing to throw his career and possibly 100s of millions of dollars away for 40 bucks worth of stuff from target.

Neither would I but I don’t trust anybody.

The story still doesn’t add up to me though. It doesn’t make sense for a guy that was just paid over $14million a few months ago to steal a few bucks worth of things now.

I will say this though, if he truly is dumb enough to steal something that doesn’t cost very much money regardless of having millions of dollars, then he will probably be dumb enough to do something else in the very near future.

Given his past? I'd say so.

Didn’t I just saying about a month ago or so that they were trending in a good direction? I know I wasn’t just imagining that..lol

That’s good, well deserved. Maybe we are starting to see a new Jerry Jones?

Yea we were just talking about that a few weeks ago. I’m wondering if that means the curse is lifted too?

Unlike the cowboys, the eagles actually play good against good teams so I’m gonna assume it’s not gonna be a blow out either way. I’m assuming it will be like the Super Bowl, within a touchdown.

That being said, it’s supposedly nasty weather in KC so we might get some weather related drops/turnovers and that could swing a game any way.

I’m sure cowboy fans will point that out tonight since they are the penalty police and all that.
