Hey maybe if Dak could just throw 100 TDs a game we wouldn't even need to field a defense at all!!!!!! We could save that cap space completely!!!!!!

My rule of thumb, if the offense scores 21+ points, we should win the game. It's on the defense if we don't.

If the offense is prepared, focused and ready to go right from the beginning, perhaps score on their first few drives, and keeps our defense off the field as much as possible, it would be hugely beneficial. Instead it once again has been way to many filed goals and bad throws, sacks and turnover in the Red zine. That is if they don't have all those early 3's and outs first. You sure don't expect much for 60 mill per year. Remember, its Jerry that has been saying since last year, " The Cowboys will only go as far as Dak will take us".

The cowboys scored on their first three drives against the saints.

What about the other 16 games? Once every 4 or 5 weeks doesn't cut the mustard with me, it might for you however because you are too damn blind to see what has been in your face for a very long time now.

Dak isn’t great
Dak doesn’t suck.
It’s called having a balanced opinion.
Dak is a good regular season QB. He’s been the one seed a couple of times and the two seed. He was runner up to the mvp last year.
The reason I wanted to move on is because he chokes in the playoffs.
There are plenty of good reasons to make fun of Dak.
His regular season is not one of them.

I said I wanted to move on from him.
Sorry I don’t think he’s a zero in every aspect.

I guess you are the one that is behind the curve then. Because for 3 years, going on 4 now, I have posted I was all out on Dak. I posted years ago he was not the guy. I was the one who posted 3 years ago that Dak had reached his ceiling, was not capable of putting a team on his shoulders and.or making those around him better. So after 4 years I'm suppose to jump in bed and go along with all this mess just because he is around for another 4 years? Hell no. And this is part of the reason this has gone on for the past 29 years. The younger Cowboy fans still don't get it. My generation (the original and real Cowboys fans) would not have put up with this 29 years of bulls..t for a moment. And we didn't have to either.

Why don’t you disappear for about 4 years?
Dak will be gone and maybe Jerry will be dead.
We all get that you think things are being run horribly and Dak sucks. You don’t seem to have anything else to contribute.
You made your point. Most agree. Time to move on.

Does Dak's new 4 year deal have a no trade clause in it again?

Yes, and it also has a no tag clause again too.

He did. But I'd still take him over Hurts.

It's cool that he can squat 600 lbs. But I get Russ vibes from Jalen when I watch him. He holds onto the ball way too long. You can't really blame that on coaching because it's always been part of his game. Probably due to his size. Although it seems like it's even more of an issue now.

I didn't realize this but Jalen leads the league in turnovers since the start of 2023.

Jalen Hurts was better than Dak ever was the year he led the Eagles to the SB imo. And he showed up in that SB too.

But he was mediocre at best last year (imo he was actually just bad), and he’s been bad this year too. Dak has definitely outplayed him for a while now.

But maybe a game where he had 3 red zone turnovers and only got bailed out by the Steelers out choking them isn’t the game to shout Dak’s name from the hills.

I don’t think anyone is saying Dak is a great QB (especially not CeeDee Lamb) but he’s definitely better than Jalen Hurts.

Good to see Jerry is getting a bang for his buck. Dak had a fumble, 2 int's and got sacked 3 times. All but one of the int's came in the Red Zone. That's worth 60 mill per year.

He came through when it mattered and got the W, isn't that what you said matters?

When someone points out that Mahomes leads the NFL in INTs, isn't that what you say?

I hope you are not comparing Dak to Mahomes,  because he never would have had to come through in the end if he took better care of the ball earlier. A lot of earlier points were left off the board with Dumb Dak's play one again. For once he got lucky. Get back to us in another 3 weeks or so and tell me your happy paying 60 mill a year for this.

Mahomes has more INTs than Dak. But it doesn't matter because he makes up for it at the end to get the W right? Isn't that what you say?
