This is freaking terrible. According to Frisco PD they attempted to pull him over and he led them on a high speed chase. The lost him in the chase but later found his car wrecked and Kneeland deceased from a self inflicted gun shot. That’s what’s being reported.

Sounds to me like he scored TD and then went home and celebrated with his friends a bit too hard.

I could be wrong, but I feel like that is what it is pointing to.

Fentanyl in everything now.

Not exactly. Apparently he shot himself.

I’m thinking he was probably drinking and driving and thought he would get in serious trouble or lose his job and took off. Once he wrecked his car maybe thought his whole life was over. All speculation of course. Even though what he did was serious it wasn’t bad enough to take your own life. Major over reaction to the situation he had put himself in.

That's just terrible and unnecessary, not sure what he was hiding. Situation sounds eerily similar to that LSU receiver prospect from last year.

There have been hundreds of NFL players with DUIs, worst case they get like 4 game suspension. Obviously not in the right mental state to make a decision.

TMZ has audio of the cops talking to each other when they were looking for Kneeland. Also for those who don’t remember he lost his mom unexpectedly 4 days before he went to the NFL Combine last year.

Well I say this not to minimize the situation but I’m glad the cowboys have a bye week or else the game should be cancelled.

Unfortunately this isn’t the first time a Cowboys player has died mid-season. In 2012 LB Jerry Brown was killed in a roll over accident where DT Josh Brent was driving. The NFL had the Cowboys still play Cincy the next day.
