River is starting to show his age imho, and some of his decision making this year has just made me shake my head. He needs a really good O-line or he really isn't effective anymore.

I'm going to go out on a limb and pick the Falcons to win the Super Bowl this season.

The game today for me that was the biggest surprise was Minnesota losing to the Colts so badly. When you can't get any offense going against the Colt defense, you have major problems. I believe the Vikings will fall out of playoff contention despite their defense.

You're entitled to your opinion, and who knows, maybe I'll end up eating my words. But HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I mean, I've been wrong before. But I REALLY don't see it. Like really really don't see it. I'd take just about every single team in the current "playoff picture" before I took the Falcons. Aside from the Texans, Bucs, and maaaaybe the Dolphins.

Aren't they pretty much done? Detroit has a 2 game lead on them. GB a game up.

I would personally like to see Denver, Indianapolis, Green Bay, and one of Pittsburgh or Baltimore miss the playoffs.

Possible?

Yeah, and Detroit owns the tiebreaker anyway, and the best they can do is tie Detroit. So their hopes for the division are done.

Could still conceivably win a wild card spot though, but that's a long shot.

I'd have to say the Giants might end up having the best shot honestly. They match up well with Dallas. Their defense is legit.

Giants and Packers are the scariest looking teams heading into the playoffs imo, although the Packers struggling with the Bears today was a little concerning. But they've both been on fire...Giants have a scary defense, and the Packers have Rodgers.

Those would be the last 2 teams I would want to face if I were anyone else, imo.

Your reaction is completely justified. Falcons have been accustomed to getting into the postseason, and falling flat on their face....but I just feel like this season is different. They're a offensive juggernaut, and their defense is disruptive. It finally looks like things are slowing down for Matt Ryan, and with Julio near 100% for the first time this season they're going to be an extremely tough out.

Giants offense isn't scaring anyone, Eli has struggled with the deep ball all season. And while Rodgers has been special as of late I still don't trust their running game and defense.

If you're referring to the Falcons then you're greatly mistaken. Coleman and Freeman are more than capable of carrying the load. That's a dimension past Matt Ryan led teams have been missing.

Flawless half from Dak even with receivers dropping balls.
