I wouldn’t touch Bryce. I saw the video you posted. I don’t care how good he is. He’s small like Tua. He’s going to get wrecked.

Richardson feels like the pick

He honestly should have stayed in school. Even if he ends up being a top 5 pick.

It's smokescreen season

But if I had to say, I'd put Richardson as having the most potential of the 4 first round QBs getting talked about. Not only does he have the best physical tools of the group, he has shown that he knows what his weaknesses are and is trying to work on them

You watch his tape over the season and he's clearly improving at the passing stuff he wasn't good at to start the year. His processing took a noticeable step forward over that time. Plus, while he'll get Malik Willis comps because he's more of a runner than a passer, if you actually watch him, he doesn't run until he gets through his reads. Now, he needs to work on making said reads, but the fact he's working through his progressions before taking off is a good sign. Plus, his pressure to sack rate is very low, meaning he has good elusiveness and isn't running into defenders

With that being said, I still have Young as QB1. He has the most QB talent of the group, and I'm a talent over traits guy. I get people who don't want him cause his size is that much of an outlier, but I think the talent is something you can't pass up on. And then I have Stroud as my clear QB2, with Richardson/Levis as 3/4. In terms of potential, I have Richardson as the clear highest ceiling, followed by Levis/Stroud, and then Young, because potential to me is what physical tools tell you. Young still has the potential to be great, just not as great as the rest of the group. But he has the highest floor and highest chance of reaching said ceiling, like how 2 years ago you could argue that Lance, Fields, or Wilson had higher potentials than TLaw, but TLaw was the most well-rounded and was the most likely to reach his potential

In Jags news, I'm a bit dismayed at the Calijah Kancey hype, I really wanted the dude to be there at 24 for us, but it looks like both him and Brian Branch are gonna be off the board, and those were my top 2 guys who I thought realistically might have a chance to be there. I guess at this point, my top guy who I realistically expect could be there is O'Cyrus Torrence, which would be good for us, but isn't the biggest need or the flashiest position.

Just did a mock draft on pff, this is kind of a dream scenario for me:

Image

Kancey is exactly the type of player our DLine needs, a pass rushing DT. Bit undersized, but I'm a talent over traits guy. I didn't realize Banks was still there when I traded up, I was gonna take Darnell Washington, but Banks is what we need at CB too, a guy who can play slot year 1 when we have our outside corners set and develop into an outside guy down the road. LaPorta I don't know much about but there was a big drop off in TEs after him, so I had to prioritize positions of need, but him and Perry would both serve as good depth pieces for Trevor with potential to develop into quality rotational guys

Gave up a bit much to move up 8 spots in the 2nd, but worth it imo. Would be stoked if this was how the first 4 rounds went for us.

Jack is going to give me crap for this, I’m back on the Levis band wagon haha. I’ve been watching some stuff on all these guys, damn that arm is just too hard to over look.

Also Bryce basically being the smallest QB since Flutie is hard to over look.

Last I saw, all QBs outside of Bryce are expected to be full participants.

Only three pounds lighter than Kyler at his weigh-in. Bigger hands than Kenny Pickett.

Not nearly the athlete that Murray is. Just face it, Will the Thrill Levis is the man of this draft. You’ve known it all along!

Anyone who puts Mayo in coffee is automatically disqualified.

Face it Jack, you would’ve been one of those people that called the Wright brothers crazy for thinking humans can fly. You’re stuck living in the past old man. Give it a year and the most popular drink at Starbucks will have Mayo in it!

Wonder what it would cost to go from 5 to 1?
