Likely, Aiyuk probably knows he wasnt going to get paid like Jefferson, but after he saw what a glorified slot receiver can get from a dumb GM there is no way Niners can sign him long term.

And they shouldnt at that cost, there is a great receiver pipeline from college nowadays. Niners can replace 80 percent of him with a late second rounder.

I dont think so but some might consider, technically it is middle of average life expectancy for men. I am around that age too.

Honor their 5th year option or hold out are the only viable choices. Only desperate teams would either pay up or trade em as some end to justify the mean dogma in the name of appeasement to their demands. It was a bad idea in Munich and still a bad idea now.
