yeah we do know why, because I've already talked it to death with you.

The general forum is basically one CeeDee Lamb thread away from being a Cowboys forum. It's beating a dead horse. And frankly I think you have a form of addiction over the subject. I don't think you can go a day without thinking about Jerry Jones.

I think every now and then you accidently blurt out "Jerry Jones" in regular everyday conversations.

No. Your pissed because I have right for 4 years and running and you don't want to admit. Told you 4 years ago Zeke was washed, told you 3 years ago Dak is not the guy, been telling you for how ever long Jerry is the absolute worst GM, etc., You even got on my azz and made fun of me earlier this year in the Cowboy forum when I said the Cowboys would be 3-6 or 3-7. What's my crime, being right all the time about the Cowboys?

The bet was 5 wins, and the only reason you maybe would have won that bet is because Dak got injured. We don't see eye to eye on things, I think under the right circumstances, you can win with both Jerry and Dak. I will always think that just like I think it's possible to have won a ring with Romo. Hell Jerry already proved it. McCarthy has proved it also.

I think you can win with almost any QB under the right circumstances. Football is complex and takes LOTS OF THINGS TO GO RIGHT. including pure luck. The Chiefs needed luck to hit on Mahomes. The right draft pick, etc.

You don't believe these things. you think it's impossible. Thus time for you to move on, and it's time for us to stop having this debate.

What do you think Cowboys should do going forward to fix their team?

Draft well…

Build a team that is ready to compete in 4 years…

Absorb 3 years of Dak's money then let him go…

Move forward.

Because this team as currently constituted isn’t going anywhere.

Bring in Deion. Draft his Son & have him sit behind Dak next season. You then trade Dak to a contender in March of 2026.

Fwiw you can't move off of Dak until 2026 at the earliest.

Will it workout? Probably not. But it's the type of move that Jerry would look to pull off.

Deion is one of my favorite players but I do not like him as a coach at all, and I do not think Shedeur will be as good as Dak either.

I want Belichick, and I want a defense.

Defense is the easiest route to a ring. Trying to find the next Brady or Mahomes could literally take 100 years or never. Just need a top-10 QB and an elite defense to do the trick.

I don't blame you. I'm not a big fan of Shedeur either. But I could definitely see Jerry pulling the trigger.

Defense is easiest path.

Chiefs getting it done right now with an elite defense, they were able to construct a top-5 defense while Mahomes has a $37M hit on the season so that is proof it can be done with a QB getting big money.

Ravens had the #1 defense in the NFL last season while Lamar was the highest paid QB also.

And 90% of the difference between this abomination of a season and the 12-5 season we had last year is the defense. We have the worst defense in the NFL right now. Zimmer should be fired already, it is a MASSIVE downgrade from last year. It's hard to believe these are even the same players.

Sometimes the players don't always fit the scheme. A lot of those players we're handpicked by Dan Quinn. That's probably why it hasn't worked with Zimmer.

Not the Turk, but I rather would have been a 49ers fan in the last 30 years than a Cowboys fan.

Only in bizarro Dallas world is losing a close SB worse than choking in the wildcard round.

Like obviously the Eagles 2022 season was more successful than the Eagles 2023 season.

First off, Dallas won a ring 30 years ago lol, in 96

But I never said it was worse, I am saying:

1. Patriots
2. Chiefs
3. Super Bowl winner
.

.
.
.
.
15. 49ers
16. Cowboys
.

.
32. Browns

basically who gives a @#$% after all the ring winners, it's a debate amongst losers.

Cowboys should be around 30. You really have been that bad in the last 28 years and 7 months. Even the Jags made two AFC championship games after 1996.

Jerry has been getting increasingly cranky since last season's playoff exit, even threatening to get reporters fired, and will insist to do it "his way" next offseason.

Then every non-SB winner should be tied for last place.

If Belichick goes to Cowboys knowing he would be stuck with Dak and Jerry, I would eat my underwear.

If we’re talking about SB wins how in the world should the Jets be above the Cowboys? The Cowboys have 5 SB wins in their franchise history. The Jets have 1. They don’t get credit for 2 more SB wins just because they “made it” to an AFC Championship game twice in the last 30 years.

We all know that as long as Jerry is alive this will be the formula for the Cowboys. There are no misconceptions.

NOW you’re getting it. That would put the Eagles at about 28 or 29 right?
