Welp - he threw that one more than 10 yards at least

Hmmm ... Broncos are tough, my erudite friend

Want to see Bills vs Seahawks, though, we already had a Broncos vs Seahawks Super Bowl

They really couldn't have

Cause it's so late in the season, they can't trade for someone so it has to be someone either on a practice squad, or not in the league

Best player on a practice squad is Trevor Siemian. Which yeah, you can argue he'd be a better option, but we know they asked both Sam Ehlinger and Derek Carr before Rivers, and both them said no, it's highly likely nobody wanted to go there.

Aren't there maybe hundreds of younger unemployed quarterbacks with livelier arms sitting on their couches similar to Rivers? Some of them perhaps even playing in some other league like UFL or something(don't know if it still exists)?

I understand knowing the playbook was a factor but I refuse to believe Steichen's playbook stayed the same last 5 years where it hasn't been a factor for him either.

I mean, lot of those guys haven't played in the NFL in years either. Plus if they were never good, I don't see why the Colts would try them. Like, yeah, looking at CFL guys you could take a swing on Bo Levi Mitchell, he's nearly a decade younger than Rivers, but he's never played in the NFL. Nathan Rourke maybe, he's only 27, and he was on a practice squad for the Jags last year

It's just all bad options for them. Like I said, Rivers was definitely not their first or second choice, it's entirely possible they tried a bunch of other guys and none of them wanted to play for them either.
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

Tough news. At the end of the season but watch them rush him back so he plays the start of next season.

Looked like both Adams and Puka got injured, with a short week before the showdown vs. the Seahawks.

I agree they are all bad choices and chances are the result wouldn't have been any different, but offense could have been bit more unpredictable I think.

When people talk about the chiefs missing the playoffs it will be the year he tore his ACl.
Real fans will remember he did after they were practically eliminated.

I'm proud of Collinsworth having the strength to show up to work tonight after his lover tore an ACL and was eliminated from the playoffs. Most people would phone it in, but he's a real soldier whose courage and bravery should be applauded.

Was very obvious. Non contact, grabbed the front of his knee.
