bradford isn't anything to write home about but he's better than some of the other options out there. its given me a little hope again if nothing else. the team could have just rode it out with hill for a while, or brought in someone else for cheap and kind of float through the year with a bad qb situation but the front office went out and made a big statement saying they think this team is good enough now to make a move like this
I kind of agree with this like bluejerseyjinx does. If you are a team that should have gotten to the second round of the playoffs last year and have finally gotten your team competitive enough to get to the playoffs again, a first rounder isn't as big of a deal as it would be if you were more of a mediocre team. It's probably a pretty low first rounder anyway. Don't throw away a season if you think he can fit in and be serviceable or better.
