was hoping allen would get back there this year but they haven't had a dynamic playmaker since Kyler Murray left. i say that, and yet they've lost 2 games the last 4 years

Yeah... played 14-15 each of the last two years too. Crummy team that one. 8-)

An old Fan Nation (Sports Illustrated forum where I came from) poster is a teacher at DeSoto in Dallas. They had to beat Cedar Park to reach the finals tomorrow night. I know you're familiar with them. A whole bunch of fresh blood in the 5A and 6A finals this year.

I hope Desoto can pull it off. After losing to Allen for so many years, either by bad breaks or plain stupidity they gotta love to not have been in their division. That qb is a badass

The school @studcrackers spoke about - Allen - plays in a stadium that cost over $70 million to build. And before anyone talks about how stupid it is to pay that much to build a high school stadium, just know that the vote to build it passed with over 90% voting yes. Town just north of Allen (McKinney) just passed a referendum to build one for over $60 million. Vote wasn't close.

So yeah. It's different down here.

:o

Here, there's no way that would fly. Especially in a city like Seattle. The anti-sports/liberal crowd here would throw a fit. They still can't pass plans for a new arena (NBA/NHL). Seattle is the worst in regards to actually getting anything approved. Traffic is a nightmare. . Not quite L.A. level, but not far behind either.

i doubt the city of dallas would approve such a thing, but the suburbs would. traffic is a mess here too. also, it was 60 not 70 million and was part of a huge bond to also build some other stuff in the school.

but the thing is packed just about every friday night and can host other events (graduation, playoff games, low level college games). idk, the main reason it got built is cause our city is to stubborn to build a 2nd high school, which it needs. the high school is massive it's 10-12th grade and is about 4500 students while the old high school is the 9th grade center. but despite all this it still ranks as one of the top public High schools in the state and graduates just about everyone

I "think" they made it to the third round before losing. Not completely sure though.

Remember the name Charlie Brewer.

Senior QB at Lake Travis HS (Austin) TX.

Don't know where he's going to school next year. But he's going to be good. Really good.

Held onto Bilal Powell almost all season anticipating a Forte injury. And now that I'm out of the playoffs he decides to beast on consecutive weeks smh.

And the first inevitable Brock interception is now out of the way, first interception for the Jags since week 4.

Well done.
