Lamar is hobbled, Henry is starting to show signs of age, Ronnie Staley is hurt, their star DT Madubuike is out for the season, Roquan Smith is going to miss time, and their secondary is going to be without two of their best players in Humprey and Wiggins. There is no way that's a top 10 team, just off the top of my head I'd take Broncos and Colts over them.
Exactly how I feel too many key injuries. Staley is one of the best linemen and Madubuike is on the short list of best DT in the league. You can't replace those guys especially with a hobbled Lamar Jackson whose game relies on having time to improvise.

One of Denver, Pittsburgh, Colts should be in the top 10. KC isn't #2 I take Buffalo, Detroit or The Chargers over them

I'm only listing top 10:

1. Eagles - Most balanced team even though the defense looks shaky at times

2. Chiefs - Look like a completely different offense now that Worthy is back and Rice isn't even back yet...running game still a huge question mark

3. Lions - Could argue them 1 or 2 but I have them 3 because of Goff

4. Bills - I don't trust the defense but have to be top 5 because of Allen

5. Bucs - They are in every game. Offensive line is finally getting healthy. Bucky Irving may be the second best back in the league present day

6. Chargers - Could move higher once line gets healthy...arguably the most balanced team after the Eagles.

7. Seahawks - Elite defense and elite playmakers. That week 2 domination of Pittsburgh looks very good now IMO

8. Rams - Secondary is awful otherwise I'd have them higher

9. Ravens - Leaving them as a placeholder here...possible they turn it around.

10. Packers - Team with the most upside. No real weaknesses

Any changes?

Honestly not really. Ravens obviously suck now and the chargers should be outside the top 10 (arguably) but nothing really changes in my overall thesis. I don’t want to pay myself on the back but it’s pretty damn accurate.

How is it accurate if you have the Chiefs as the 2nd best team in the NFL, yet they're in 3rd in their division? 10th in their conference...

I’m projecting. PR will never be accurate with schedules and records

They should have beat the Eagles week 1 TBH. If CeeDee could just catch.

But if I did a full list they would probably be right around the middle at #16. They are a .500 team with a top-5 offense and a bottom-5 defense. Basically they are what the Bengals were last season. Also similar to what the Ravens are right now.

You just can't go that far with a defense this bad.

Except for the Egals, Micah's list is pretty much spot on at the moment. Egals are going down. Lions are best team in NFC when healthy. The Damn Bucs appear to be a team that will be an extremely tough out come playoff time that nobody will want to play.

Yeah, Eagles won't even make the playoffs with that trash offensive scheme. Cowboys are clearly better. Schotty has created a well-oiled machine that will be successful in the postseason like his father.

Lol. The Eagles are the best team I've seen from Top to Bottom. If the Eagles bring their A Game, and if an opponent brings their A Game. The Eagles win. They have the strongest Lines Both sides. They have the Top RB. They have an experienced QB. And a Loss would not fall on what the opponent is doing. If the Eagles lose, it would be due to their own mistakes and self destruction.

What pissed me off is that the offense was very stale, but at least they were winning, then the receivers complain, then the offense comes out, is still stale, but throwing more and loses. Like what the hell? I guess it's time for the captains to meet with Sirianni again.

Yeah. Take out the Egals and put in the Cowboys. Egals have a bush league offense.

If you ban the tush push, that offense would be dead last.

Egals don't want Hurts throwing the ball at all. They will have to do better on first and second down.

BJJ was correct, Eagles didn't belong in my top-5

1. Lions
2. Bills
3. Bucs
4. Colts
5. Jaguars

My top-5 will welcome the Jags now.

He nailed it.

Power rankings are the equivalent of bjj posting his bets after the games are over; it's just listing teams that are good right now. If you had put the Bucs and Colts in your Top 5 before the season, he would have responded to you with 5 rofl emoji.
