You don’t think Jerry would have drafted him before the 5th if he had no QB? lol

No, I think Shedeur was kind of black balled (because of his dad).

I just started a new job that is very challenging so I might just take this season off from the forum.

Don’t go!

I never met someone who complains as much as bjj (no wonder his wife left him), but if it offers him some relief, maybe it's better if I don't post for a while.

Parsons isn't worth 2 1st round picks and more

He's going to command a contract north of $35 million a year. Compare that to all those picks being potential starters who will be on rookie contracts for 4-5 years.

Plus for all the pass rush numbers he has put up, the Cowboys haven't won a playoffs game. So how much of an impact does he have to winning?

When "access journalists" like Schefter report something, there's always a side that wants it to be news.

I don't see what the Packers gain from leaking the offer, so the source is either Micah's agent (to say how big his value is) or the Cowboys front office (to say they are willing to trade him).

He isn’t worth that to you. There are teams that will pay that though.

The Packers “offer” is clearly coming from Parsons camp. He’s trying to generate any kind of leverage in his contract negotiations.

He’s playing checkers though while Jerry is playing chess. Parsons is playing right in to Jerry’s decrepit hands. Netflix dropped a documentary on Jerry and the Cowboys yesterday. Jerry is using Micah to generate publicity which he believes helps gets people to view his documentary.

I guess we will see if he’s actually traded. I still say this is all a publicity stunt by Jerry.

But wouldn’t Deion want it though? There’s a possibility in that wild scenario that deion joins the cowboys coaching staff.

Yep. That’s what I was thinking to, if the “report” is accurate that is

I don’t think Jerry wants Deion coaching this team.

If Kwesi had made a move for Richardson, would KOC survive that?

God bless Chris Ballard.

Haha KOC might as well have a lifetime contract with Minny already.

With that said, I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if Richardson ends up on Minny in the next year or two. If anything, just have him be the next Darnold/Jones and sign him as a backup, build up his confidence and cash in a comp pick where he goes somewhere else. With Jones starting in Indy now, a 4th round comp pick is expected now for the Vikes. Just need to fire Kwesi so we could actually have a chance to use these picks on someone

Steichen helped develop Hurts but he's throwing in the towel on Richardson?

Steichen was hired in Feb 2023 and the Colts drafted Richardson in the 2023 draft in April so presumably he had a say in that pick.

Now, about 2 years after drafting him they're giving up on him, presumably won't extend him when his rookie deal runs out.

Wow, that coach and GM may be on borrowed time.

RaoulDuke79 started watching this last night, and RaoulDuke79 was reminded what an utter moron Herschel Walker is.

Entertaining docuseries so far though. I was never a Dallas fan but as a lifelong Texas boy it brings up some nostalgia for the early-mid 90's.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.
