I watched the game, and don't recall being impressed with Manning's performance. If we're going to talk about the defense, the Colts' defense played very well the first two games the year the Colts won the Super Bowl. And Manning didn't. He deserves any choker label he gets.

If I recall correctly, the Colts beat the top 3 defenses in that super bowl run....the only time it has been done in NFL history.

That's the third different team I've seen you claim to be a fan of. Interesting

Perhaps. Still though, 51 TDs in 15 games is pretty damn good.

Yeah but they were padded. Just like Brady's was in 2007. Just like staffords or luck if he gets receivers are gonna be in 2016.

Brady's best year was his SB year. Mannings was his SB year. Manning comings back against that tough New England defense and beating the bears is ten times better then anything he did this year.

Ten times.

I wonder if Flacco's contract will go down as one of the worst of all-time, so overpaid.

Were they good against the pass or run? If a defense's strength is vs. the run, it shouldn't effect the quarterback too much. In the playoffs you're likely to play against some good defenses. He still threw 5 interceptions in the first two games, and was lucky to win the Super Bowl.

We are obviously going to have agree to disagree on this.

I live in New York and therefore the Giants are my second favorite team. My father is a big Browns fan. I was a fan growing up primarily because of my father, and have continued to pull for them. I don't think anything has changed in years.

I understand that MVPs are chosen in a vote against their peers, but that doesn't mean the best player always wins. It means that the "most valuable" player does. Maybe I'm putting more stock into the literal meaning of the award (I always have for any sport when a clear cut "best" doesn't separate themselves from the pack), but I don't think the number of MVPs won by a player automatically makes them the best of their position of all-time.

I mean, Mark Moseley won an MVP in the 80s, but I bet you can't guess what position he played, let alone for what team.

Im getting the feeling the Pats are still a little upset about losing in the playoffs last year and Brady is prob pissed about losing his record. RIP Ravens.
