As a Swift truther, I hope this happens. I know he's struggled to stay consistently healthy but that seems like almost every RB at this point.
Mind blown that Detroit decided to spend money on Montgomery and then use a top 1st on another RB. Just why??
Send my guy to Miami

Re: NFL Draft Discussion
The more time I have, the more I like the pick
Anton fits exactly what we want on the O Line. He's very fluid, great at angles in the run game, and he has the foot speed to stay in front of speed rushers
His main weaknesses seem to be his anchor against power and somewhat passive blocking style in pass sets, both of which are fixable. Frankly, I wouldn't put too much more weight on, I think 320-325 is a good weight for him if it's an extra 10 pounds of muscle, that way he doesn't lose any of his speed or agility
We were one of the worst run blocking teams in the league last year, so getting a tackle who fits right into a zone run scheme and who's very good at reading and reacting will do wonders
I expect him to be RT, just because Walker Little is better at LT, and Anton can play either side, but potentially we got a franchise tackle here if we develop him right. Excellent process too, trading back to get more draft capital and taking the guy you wanted regardless
Ideally we trade up for Branch here, but I'm also fine with seeing how the board shakes out tonight. Lots of good players still available.

I think with CBs, it's one of the more scheme-dependent positions
So if you don't play a lot of press, you won't value Porter's skillset much, cause he doesn't do zone or off-man very well
Then with Mayer, he's just a jack of all trades TE, in a league where what teams want from TEs is to be essentially giant slot receivers, and he just doesn't have the physical upside or route running to do that. His skillset isn't valued at 1st round by most teams
But I did think some team would've taken them, though I suppose we were always gonna have at least a couple of guys we were surprised to see fall out of the 1st.

I think I saw one Kentucky game last season. Levis didn't jump out to me in those games. Who knows if the system was hampering him like Herbert at Oregon. I'm skeptical of him, and Florida QB Richardson whose potential is more obvious.

Re: NFL Draft Discussion
Curious to see if the ex-Asschins continue to be aggressive and move up again. I know nothing about any of the players available but they could use a legit C and TE/WR(isn't this a weak WR class though), and would always love to see them add more playmakers to the defense.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.
