Dillon Gabriel season begins today. I have a good feeling about this kid

The Vikings’ defense is solid, so it’ll be a tough game for any rookie.

Now that Carson Wentz is playing, I like Minnesota to be a lot better they did at the start of the season. This will be a victory more than 10 points

If Wentz doesn’t take sacks he’s fine. He’s getting the ball out quickly this morning which is a positive sign

He’s still can make quick decisions like he is doing so far. The Vikings will be fine, just don’t fumble the ball again. That’s the only way they’ll lost this game (stupid turnovers).

Wentz can make quick decision but it's his natural inclination to hold the ball forever.

A team can beat you, but you don’t beat yourself. A TD run negated by a penalty is a gut punch. Now you have a rookie QB in his first start in an obvious throwing situation, he likely won’t be able to convert this 3rd and long.

Not to mention, he hasn’t play a real NFL game with different blitz packages. How is he going to process that especially playing from behind?

It might look like nothing, but having a QB that just makes simple and quick throws is already such an improvement over what we had before. If Gabriel can stay away from making major turnovers and show improvement week to week, it's already a W for this season in my book. The question that requires answering the coming months is do we go after a QB in the draft (which doesn't look very promising tbh), or is this the guy we want to go into a new season with.

Unfortunately I messaged Jack positive encouragement about the mariners and they blew that in the 10th. He’s not happy

That's great to hear as an Eagles fans that the game finally matters to Wentz now that he wears a Vikings uniform.
