I remembering us all saying it would take the fans, not showing up and making some kind of financial to Jerry's end to wake his incompetent ass up. We kinda saw this coming years ago when we were in salary cap hell back then. Its a relief to finally see the new generation fans waking up to what we always Knew Jerry was 30 years ago.
I didn’t think it would actually happen though. I would still love to see it happen during the regular season but at least the fans are showing their frustration.
Do you get the same feeling as me that Jerry is purposely trying to set Dak up for failure with the way he is handling this current mess with C.D. Lamb? It was evident to most of us 5 years ago that Dak was not the type of QB to put the team on his shoulders and carry them. Every time we put it on Dak to carry the load we all witnessed what that was like. he's not that good and that type of QB. As a matter of fact he is the opposite. He needs pieces and talent around him just to survive. So it doesn't make sense to me at this point why Jerry is taking away the most important piece on this offense unless its his way of trying to make Dak look even worse before he is run out of town.
You want Dak gone, so I understand why you would see it that way.
But Jerry is the constant in the Cowboys' almost 30 years of playoff disappointments. So the explanation for this offseason might simply be that he is not good at building a SB winning team.
