I feel like it’s a very good time to sell. The dude has made sooooo much money from his original investment, it’s insane. That being said, I’m not sure I buy that rumor. I feel like Jerry would get bored without the cowboys. I guess it would make sense if he’s gotten some bad health news, like he has cancer or something and doesn’t have too much longer to live (hopefully not).

It doesn’t make sense that at 80+ years old he woo ok old sell the team. He has been saying for at least 3 years that the last training camp could be his last. If he feels that his son won’t be successful as an NFL owner why. Or sell the team? Take your $10B and ride off into the sunset with the rest of your family. I’m sure they could find a way to keep themselves busy with that much money.

I didn’t know that. Well then if he’s been dropping hints then maybe it will happen soon. That’ll be interesting, I don’t know what the cowboys will be like without Jerry jones.lol I don’t know how to react

I really butchered that first sentence. I meant to say that at 80+ years old is does make sense that he would want to sell the team, especially if he has no confidence that Stephen or his grandsons could be successful team owners.

This is going to be one of these years that only happens once every 9-12 years. Washington wins the division like they did with R.G. Knee a while back. None of us ever see it coming but for some strange reason it does. Cowboys won't be sweeping Washington this year.

One thing is for sure, the Cowboys are better than two of the worst teams in the NFL.

With the emergence of Washington, it is hard to imagine Dallas doing better than 3rd in the NFCE now.

Possible that is still good enough for a Wild Card spot though.

But in a bigger mess than those other two bad teams moving forward. Cowboys would be in a much better position moving forward if they had just let Dak play out his contract and let him walk after the season (unless he would have waved his no trade provision in his contract and then we could have made a trade on or before draft night). I also said it would have been best to also trade Lamb as well. His value will never be higher than it was before the season started. We could have gotten some serious draft picks for him. And I also am aware that some people are usually very late to the party, but I also would have traded Parsons as well. He is no difference maker and to me just a giant head ache and dough head.

Like I said weeks ago, there might not be any team winning more than 8 games in this division

How about this interesting tid bit proving Jerry and Stephen's incompetence in free agency and then lying to Cowboy Nation about the whole. Despite Jerry claiming they had no money for Derick Henry, the Cowboys currently have 26 mill in cap space.
Zeke Elliott's 2024 cap hit: 2 mill. So far he has 81 yards, his YPC is 3.4 and had 1 T.D.
Derick Henry's 2024 cap hit is 5.1 mill. He has 480 yards, his YPC is 6.0 and has 5 T.D.'s.
All this lying and drama over 3.1 mill. :ouch: :clown: :curse:

No not dead! It has been a while since I posted. I ruptured my achilles last March and just kind of focused on rehabbing that along with work, etc.

Now that the Cowboys are back on track with that AMAZING win against the NYG I am ready to commit myself to the Cowboys - SB wagon again.

May not be. Dallas and Philly look pretty meh. Washington actually appears to have something going but it's always hard to trust a rookie QB to keep it up all year. Once teams get some more film on them it may get tougher. Quinn's defense seems to be pretty well figured out too, so we will have to see how that plays out. They are clearly the best start to the season though.

Dallas and philly might need to completely redo their entire teams to be honest because it looks like what they’ve been trying to do ain’t working

Wow.. I love that guy to death but man, I don’t know if he just has bad spending habits or what..lol why’s he still trying to block guys that are literally half his age? You already know that if Andy Reid isn’t calling then JP probably isn’t worth the contract anymore.

I expect Washington will continue to do really well until about mid-season. The Cowboys and Eagles will continue to have their struggles however will both go on a post Thanksgiving run. All three teams will end up 8-9 or 9-8. Washington ends up winning the East.
