My Brady prediction got off to a strong start. Godwin should have had three tds last night.

Lamar does most of their running anyway. Just need a decent threat. Not sure how good Gus Edwards is but he will be back next year. No need for a big trade...just a decent threat.

More than likely it will be, but I think the Ravens are going to lean on the veteran (and I'm not talking about the 2 who are beyond washed up)

Wait..

I offered you your handcuff RB for a kicker lol.

Is Legatron worth that much?

Maybe its just my group of friends, but they are all super high on McLaurin. And now with Curtis Samuel out, I think he gets a bigger boost.

For what its worth.

Metcalf is ranked #8 by fantasy pros
McLaurin is ranked #10

I didn't think it was disrespectful after I saw your rb situation lol.

Carlos Hyde has no value. There are at least 4-5 FA RBs I can go pickup right now that have better value than Hyde. I agree that McLaurin should have a good year, but if I wouldve preferred McLaurin over DK I would've taken him over DK. Hyde has no trade value when there are better options than him I can pickup for free.

Thats fair and tbh I didn't think you would take that trade. I didn't think the legatron deal was that bad. But if you aren't a fan of the handcuff I can't blame you. I only will pay for certain ones, and I can see Hyde not being interesting. That said, he is 1 season removed for 1000 yards. If Robinson gets hurt and I hope he doesn't, Hyde would provide tremendous value!

Haha dont get me wrong I respect the game from you. And to be fair I didnt pay much attention to the second trade, I saw Hyde straight up for someone else and just turned it down haha.

In 1 of my other leagues I'm a bit weak at WR, but pretty strong at RB. Its a 3 keeper league.

My squad

Dak
Ridley/Diontae/Golly/Pittman/Fuller/Gabe Davis/Rondale Moore
Najee/CMC/Swift/Gaskin/Javante Williams/Chubba
Pitts

Id like to upgrade my 3rd WR to someone a bit more consistent as I don't really love any of Golly/Pittman/Fuller.

1 Guy who had Gus Edwards and is really hurting at RB offered me Godwin for Gaskin. I held off on that deal and asked for McLaurin. What do yall think, did I mess up not taking the deal?

I tend to think eventually people will overpay and get desperate for RB's so hold out for that time.

I'd rather move Swift than Gaskin. I think you have enough depth there to get rid of Swift. He's way too injury prone for me and is one bad concussion away from being out of the league

In another realgm league one player (Dirk) wasn't there for the draft so he set up a draft card and it auto drafted. Since it was a 2 QB league with the OP slot, the QBs went fast and it only drafted him 1. So it put a WR in his OP slot. I PM'd him and told him he should pick up a QB on waivers that went through Friday because it's best to play a QB in the OP slot.

So he moved Chris Godwin out of the OP slot to the bench.

His opponent: Me.

Oops.

He has to hate you right now.

If it was Howard, he'd likely think that you're trying to take advantage of him.

Forgive me for being ignorant. I watch zero college football. Was he injured a lot in college? I dont understand the injury concerns he missed 3 games last year. Gaskin actually missed more.

Nagging groin injuries and a horrible concussion. Couple that with the lions offensive and Jamal Williams and that’s a recipe for disaster.

I like Gaskin (UW). But Miami has a crowded RB room too. I would hang onto Swift for now.

It's a little early to have any idea what will happen yet. We just drafted and neither have played. Swift is consistently ranked higher. Williams is good but more of a 3rd down back.

The main thing to me, though, is the Lions have the 10th ranked OL while the Dolphins have the 29th. You can take equal RBs or even a worse RB and put them behind that much better of a line and he will look a lot better.

https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-ranking-all-32-nfl-offensive-line-units-entering-2021-season

Defenses may stack the box against the Lions but Goff will have time to pass. Tua was one of the worst big play passing threat, and he has little time to pass, so their offense could look really bad with no time to pass and not much of a line to block for the running game.

Both teams will likely get down and have to pass, but the Lions can also take a game approach of ball control, slowly move the ball down the field, etc, with a solid OL, and their best pass catcher being their TE. They can just pound the ball down the field...they will throw a lot to Jamaal too but I bet they run Swift a lot.

Ya I would double this. Especially if it’s a PPR league. Swifts ability to get catches puts his ceiling much higher than Gaskin’s in a PPR league.
