Also their defense looks mid, I don't see that changing considering all the turnover they had this offseason.

The eagles literally always start slow during the sirianni era. This was not a pretty game but honestly I think it’s progress believe it or not. The biggest thing for me though is other teams will 100% try to provoke Jalen Carter from here on out.

Ya he’s always been a head case. He was projected to go first overall but slid because of his attitude. The eagles have done a good job masking this and taking advantage of his talent.

Weeks 1-3 the last few years they've always been shaky since the starters don't play in preseason. But I also think they will be worse offensively on the season.

Actually he dropped in the draft because a month prior to the draft he was in a street race where 2 people died.

I’m not defending his actions for this game but I will say that I really haven’t noticed him doing anything like this or even close to this in his previous 2 years as an eagle.

Teams will target Adoree Jackson. Eagles should've kept Slay.

It’s amazing the mental gymnastics some will go through to maximize their trolling.

I mean, yeah

It's trolling

Not exactly, it's more I'm making fun of a team for doing stupid things and then the fans for saying "if we didn't trade Micah, we would've never gotten Kenny Clark!" like that's even remotely a reasonable thing to say

Any rational person knows it was for the future. The two first rounders was key to the deal.
Talking about Parsons for Clark is just nonsense and a waste of time.

We lowkey stink and might not even make the playoffs but still good enough to beat the Cowboys.

100% on adoree Jackson but honestly I think it was time to move on from slay. He was aging fast, and he literally got injured almost every game no lie but I don’t know if he even missed much game time but he’d always be hobbling around.

That being said, I agree adoree Jackson is an issue. They need to adress that very soon.

Maybe after winning the SB he’s more relaxed and behaving more like himself. lol
I remember scouts were flagging him for character concerns even beyond the driving incident.

I like Slay but he's old now and needs a game rest occasionally or else he's spent by the end of the season.

He's the one who said you needed to trade Micah to get Clark, cause players like Kenny Clark are so rare and valuable, you just gotta get 'em when they're available.

This could be true I will admit, I just haven’t remembered a time where it’s been an issue so far, until now.

But yeah teams are 100% gonna try to provoke Carter and honestly I don’t blame them. We will see how he responds.

We all know the truth. They didn’t want to trade him.
The first rounders are the key.
Everything else is just noise.

Except Mr B, obviously

I dunno, it just sounds like y'all are floundering knowing this trade sucks for y'all and are trying to make up excuses as to why it was great, actually.

Highest graded player was a rookie? Excited for this kids potential. Yet another player that fell to the eagles in the draft. Who’s gonna fall to the eagles next year

Clark is an asset. He will definitely help in the running game. The worst position on this team was DT. It’s a big upgrade.
Two things can be true.
But no one will argue that the bulk and focus of this trade was the two first rounders.

Campbell was my draft crush. He's going to be a great player for them.

Devonta smith and AJ brown have both been dealing with injuries all offseason. Neither of them really practiced much all summer at all. Devonta has had back issues and also a groin injury and AJ brown has been dealing with a bad hamstring.

I honestly think if this wasn’t Dallas week, neither would have played week 1. Maybe Devonta still plays, I don’t know.
