Greatness, I agree they're one of the top teams. I wouldn't even put the chiefs as the top team, too many good ones out there in the AFC. The lowly AFC, too many good teams in the lowly AFC. Jeff?

Correct me if I'm wrong but we're talking about the same Alex Smith that threw for 300 yds and 3 tds with no picks to beat the Saints, threw for 200 yards and 2 tds and no picks in a game Kyle Williams cost them right?

Alex Smith isn't great, but he's not terrible. With KCs D and Jamaal Charles they could make noise in the playoffs. Especially if they get home field.

sure if you buy into this kc defense being as good as the niners defense or not having redzone target like vernon davis is not a big deal. 200 yards and sub 50 percent completion rate rarely cuts it in playoffs, niners should've won that game regardless of williams messing up punt returns.
