It's very easy to see that something is off actually.

Waivers last week.

Blue jersey Is my lover (Jwise)
Puka Nacua LAR, WR
Added.Wise dropped J.K. Dobbins, Bal RB to Waive

Waivers this week.

Blue jersey Is my lover (Jwise)
Jerome Ford Cle, RB
Added.Wise dropped Deon Jackson, Ind RB to Waivers.

So like... the same manager got the two top waiver pick ups in back to back weeks?

That obviously doesn't make any sense... after picking up Nacua, that manager would fall below others on the order... and yet he still grabbed Ford ahead of other managers.

I.e, Team Duke4life and Buffalo Hawks both tried to get Nacua. Failed. Cool.

Next week Team Duke4life and Buffalo Hawks both tried to get Ford. Failed. And who got it... the same manager who got Nacua!?

And like I said... I saw I had priority #1 in that Waiver order this week (100% certain of this).

I think this brings up a good point (nothing to do with your actual post)

But why are we doing waiver order instead of FAB? This waiver system is very archaic. Can this be changed?

It resets each week based on inverse order of record. So if you start 0-2, then you get a higher priority.

This weeks order:

1. Bwgood
2. jwise
3. Tyler
4. DOT
5. Cactus
6. Dirk
7. Duke
8. Bjj
9. ABomb
10. Azcatz

Agreed. I think we tried to implement FAB last year iirc. But not everyone was for it.

Where are you seeing that list?

I see this

https://i.ibb.co/T1t384F/image.png

And two days ago, I was #1.

There is no way the same manager should be getting the top pick up in back to back weeks to start the season.

That is just dumb to happen.

Just to be clear - I wasn't calling you out. BJJ is against FAB because he's an old school player and doesn't know what he's doing.

You said before i was #6. But I see #3 there.

And 2 days ago was #1 in that list. I didn't dream it I saw 1 out of 10. I literally saw that as I picked Ford. And even made sure not to pick anyone else because I wasnt sure if it would interfere with my pick up.

Anyway, it doesnt matter. It's obviously dumb that the same manager picks the two best players on the first two weeks. It should not be based on standings. It should be based on actually using a claim and dropping down to the end of the list.

You had #6 this week. But after claims, you're currently 3rd on the list.

I actually prefer Faab. But I guess we can take a vote on the waiver process (reset vs. No reset).

I see you have been a busy beaver two weeks in the season. 13 drops and adds already. Should have drafted better.

In another league I got offered Joe Burrow and Saquon Barkley for Jalen Hurts and Cooper Kupp. I like Hurts more than Burrow but the overall trade seems like a no brainer, especially since the league is a keeper league and RBs are hard to come by. It's definitely my worst position, but without Kupp, my receivers will be lacking....but they seem way easier to find. It is a super deep league too, with 20 teams.

I would not do that trade if I were you.

Hurts is going to get you a locked in 25+ points every week with the potential for 40-45 depending on league settings. Burrow has looked awful. Blame it on the calf...whatever. There is something wrong with that offense right now.

The Giants are also a disaster on offense and teams will stack the box.

Yeah, but this is more long term. Kupp is up and down and out too. I do realize Hurts is better for fantasy than Burrow but long term is it as big as the difference between the value of Kupp and Barkley? It is VERY hard to find RBs in this league.

Barkley only has like 3 prime years left at max. Kupp probably has around the same. You can always draft a RB. You’re losing Hurts who is your plug and play top QB the next 10 years

Burrow is too. He retracted the trade offer. My current RBs are severely lacking and they are really hard to find in a 20 team draft with 4 keepers, but maybe I will do bad this year and get a top pick. I had the top record last year probably luckily because I don't think I had nearly the best team, but this year isn't looking good so far. Trading Kupp would hurt too if he stays healthy once he comes back because my #2 WR is Mack Hollins. My #1 is Aiyuk who is out.

My RBs are Jamaal Williams who is out, Chuba Hubbard, Singletary, Penny, and Evan Hull (out).

My best players are Hurts, Kupp and Andrews at TE. No one really has a stacked team though at all.

Yeah, and I did a pretty good job building up my keepers because I took over the team that decided to quit when his best keeper (Peyton Manning) retired. His other keepers were AJ Green, Greg Olsen and the Seahawks D.

I got Hurts in the draft when Wentz was still starting luckily.

I guess maybe I would consider that deal given your RB situation. It's obviously beyond bad. But I would just hate losing Hurts even though Burrow is probably Tier 2 or Tier 3 depending on how you value a non running QB.

My concern with Saquon is his injury history / Giants sucking every year / he's getting a little older. Idk - it's prob a coin toss. Don't you like having Hurts on your team? He's my Dynasty League QB and it's so fun watching him play

I love Hurts but think Burrow is tier 1 QB (or borderline tier 1) too, despite his play this year so far. Hurts may be more injury prone overall too. The deal was retracted but I may offer it back and see if he will do it.
