Lions win, first team since 1970 to win when throwing 5+ interceptions AND trailing by 15+ points lol

It’s tough without Nico
I mean I guess if we're gonna make excuses for him. But I was told he was "generational" by a certain someone.
Geno threw for 400 yards on the road against this same Detroit defense. He didn't have his #1 WR last week & still threw for almost 400 yards.
I predicted CJ Stroud's downfall when he was dating Amber Rose.

True. He's basically been set up to fail.
Playing behind a bottom tier offensive line. He hasn't had a run game to speak of & It's why they've been the most unbalanced team offensively all year. He essentially has to be Superman for them to have a chance every week.

Geno pads stats because he is usually behind playing against prevent defense, poor man's Dak.

I was told Bryce Young is generational by a certain someone, certainly Stroud is much closer

Most people had Bryce as QB1 prior to that draft btw. Did you forget? The mistake I made was overlooking just how much his size would be an issue. But yeah, I never threw around the word "generational" with him. But I definitely thought he would be better as a pro.
As for Stroud? He's fine. But he definitely has come back down to earth somewhat. He tends to struggle when he faces more pressure & has to play off script. But he was like that in college as well.

He has far outplayed Dak this season. Again, he doesn't have a good OL or consistent run game to lean on. Not many QB's would be able to perform without both.
He has struggled against the Niners. So, that's why your view of him is so skewed.

I didnt, I knew he wasnt built to play in NFL, many people had similar concerns.
CJ was an easy pick on that draft, only Richardson had better potential if he'd put it together.

He has been in the league many years, never been an above average quarterback unless everything around him is perfect. He is not a quarterback that lifts players around him, in a salary cap league your team is likely to have holes but your quarterback needs to make up for it. He has one of the best skill position groups to work with too.

Geno has turnover worthy plays because he presses. But he's pretty much the only reason they've been competive this year. If he's not perfect, they don't win. He's had to carry the load.
I don't think people realize just how bad his OL has been at times. It's why they struggle against teams with a decent defensive front.
They had no trouble with Atlanta, because ATL doesn't have a pass rush to speak of. When they played the Rams, he was pressured on 60% of his dropbacks.
According to PFF, he's playing at a top 5 level when throwing from a clean pocket. But when he's pressured, he's still playing at a top 12 level, this season.
So yes, he's being setup to fail.

Re: Week 10
I'm just saying
I do feel a bit of vindication seeing Mac look like he'd never played football before. It's pretty clear the problem with this team is coaching and playcalling. Doug gotta go
Same with Baalke. No excuse for the defense being this bad after spending so many assets on it and him getting his pick of DC. Clean house, hire Ben Johnson for HC, Robert Saleh for DC, trade back with some desperate team to get a bunch of picks, build a f*ckin' wall of a line, profit.

Intelligence by the young and new generation Cowboy fans is non existent. Most of you can't even deal with the biggest problem going on in Dallas. CULTURE. Blaming me for speaking the truth won't make the team better.
