Would they really hire kellen Moore? I thought most cowboy fans hated him. I guess the only thing that matters is what Jerry wants.

Most Cowboys fans do hate Kellen Moore. Jerry and Stephen love him though. Also, Jerry has a couple of mistakes that he really regrets and one of them is losing Sean Payton to the Saints. Parcells groomed him while he was in Dallas and Jerry regrets letting him walk.

That’s why he kept Jason Garrett around for so long. He thought he had the next Sean Payton. Then he tried again to groom Kellen Moore. This would be a perfect opportunity for Jerry to hire Moore. He feels like he’s responsible for Moore’s success plus he would hurt a division rival.

If Jerry doesn’t keep McCarthy (or if MM just straight up walks away) look for Kellen Moore to be one of his top choices to replace MM.

Micah Parsons really needs to shut the **** up and worry about his own team. I guess playing for the media circus that are the Dallas Cowboys has polluted his brain. If I was Mike McCarthy I would be seriously looking at other HC spots. The Cowboys just looked awful vs Philly both games this year and Dallas was putrid at home

It’ll be interesting to see whenever he signs his big huge contract, if there will be something written into the contract about his podcast.

Commanders finally got it right with the QB. Hopefully, he stays healthy. Eagles are going to continue to compete for Super Bowls. The Cowboys have talent but are flawed. The Giants are a national embarrassment.

So far… you forgot to add so far. They’ve drafted the right QB before. Before they ruined him. Let’s get through at least a couple seasons before we say Washington finally got it right.

Yeah pretty much. RG3 was better to be honest and he was never the same after his rookie year. Granted, RG3 got a major injury, but we still don’t know how these guys will be after a few years. Carson wentz is a prime example of a somewhat recent QB that looked amazing at first but phased out after like 3-4 years.

By the way, saquon Barkley is 147 yards away from tying this record (rushing record regular season+playoffs).

The past 2 games this year against Washington, saquon went for 146 yards and 150 yards.

Tony Romo is also a perfect example. His first year as a starter he looked great! He made the playoffs and looked like he was “the one”. Then he proceeded to “Joy Taylor” the hell out of every Cowboys fan for 10 years. 1 season of playing great doesn’t make you a great QB.

OJ’s 2,000+ yard season is the most impressive of the 2,000 yard seasons. He did it in 14 games, and in 3 of those games he ran for less than 100 yards. Which means he ran for the bulk of those 2,000 yards in 11 games.

I agree. Very impressive. And this was in an era where most defensive coordinators were still focusing most of their game plan on stopping the run.

I think romo is probably the best cowboys QB of my lifetime. Granted, I was too young to remember the 90s cowboys. The problem is the same with dak, they just won’t build the team properly. They either neglect offense, defense, or coaching. They’ve had seasons where they were great in each area but none where it was a good enough balance to succeed. I will say it’s obviously very hard to have a good balance but still I think there’s been obvious times where they could’ve added to the team, but didn’t, like Derrick Henry for example almost begging the cowboys to sign him this year.

Hence "Hopefully, he stays healthy." I don't see Daniels as a one-hit-wonder. I think he has much better coaching than what RG3 had.

By the way it’s kinda interesting that the nfc championship game has two prior cowboys coordinators. Kellen moore OC for the eagles (cowboys OC from 2019-2022) and Dan Quinn head coach of the commanders (DC for cowboys 2021-2023)

I already mentioned that but the Cowboys fans scolded me for wanting to talk about the Cowboys.

No one is scolding you. This is a place for people to come and talk about their favorite team and you talk Cowboys here more than anyone. Don’t let us stop you from being the Cowboys fan you proclaim to be.
