This is when I think we would really know what he is and isn’t capable of. Like I said, the chiefs took away saquon in the Super Bowl and Jalen stepped up but can he do it again for a whole year? We will see.

My guess is they wanna lower saquon’s snap count to put less miles on his legs so he stays elite for most if not all of his contract. He’s better than an average backup but not exactly somebody you wanna rely on long term if Barkley gets injured

Barkley was a great signing.
But I doubt the extension is going to work out. Those last two years might be dreadful.

You didn’t think the first year was gonna work out either

I admit it was a great signing.
The extension is pushing it though imo.

I don’t disagree with that. The extension wasn’t needed, but howie just wanted to reward him for a great year. I wouldn’t be surprised if the back end of the deal looks like an overpay but at least there’s a Super Bowl at the beginning.

Things in Big D isn't looking too promising. Last year the Cowboys only won 7 games. Thinking about taking the under this year. Jerry just doesn't know how to build a team. Not in his DNA. Always been an all in guy.

Cowboy fans are quiet these days. Future must be looking bleak.

Howie Roseman calls out the Chiefs

It’s easy to make excuses for guys. It’s easy for us, on a case-by-case basis, to go ‘I think we can get this guy.’ For us, we have some objective things that I can’t even overrule, and they’re ours, but for one, violence against women. It’s just not for us. I won’t even watch ’em, I don’t even want to talk about it. It just is dealbreakers for us. So I can’t go, ‘but he’s really good and he did it ten years ago and he learned from it.’ It just doesn’t work for us. I have four kids, I want them to be able to walk into the locker room and me not have to go, ‘just skip over that locker.’ That doesn’t mean we have perfect guys. There are different backgrounds, some guys pop off more than others. Our head coach does that sometimes, but he’s my guy and I love him. But I think for us, having good people, having people that you can rally around, on our two championship teams they had good people. You can’t tell me we can’t win with good people. We can’t be at the top of the mountain with good people? It’s the same off the field.

Maybe that’s why cowboy fans are betraying the cowboys and becoming chief fans.

Hey I’ll tip my hat to you stanky ass Dallas fans. You guys gave Luka Doncic a great homecoming. Very classy.

No, it's Chiefs fans who think they're the best thing on the planet. That's why even some Cowboys fans who got sick of all the losing switched over to Chiefs fandom.

Well they are for the most part. Look at their success the past 7 years. Even when the rare losses occur, they are in the Super Bowl or AFC Championship game. Even when you guys win a chip you can't even win your division the following year.

Exactly. Emmitt Smith couldn't cut it as an NFL commentator despite the many chances given to him, so it's unsurprising that he is talking nonsense again.

I don't think he is talking total nonsense here. After all, the Eagle fan base has been the absolute worse and disgusting since the 90's. You guys even treat Santa Claus with disrespect and give standing ovations when apposing players appear to be paralyzed.

Like Mr B says, America has become pussified. Eagles fans have stayed the same.
