Not sure if you're simply trolling at this point. But no, the Colts are NOT superior to any NFC West teams. The Colts might be one of the worst teams in the entire NFL and this is coming from a die-hard Colts fan.

Their D stink, their O-line can't block and they can't run the ball. Moncrief , Hilton are hurt as is most of their secondary. They are a hot mess right now.

I said historically. I didnt say from the time you born till now.
The Colts are a top 12 team in nfl,not a bottom 5.

they have minor injuries, the team will be fine.

trendy spurts dont detract from it. The Colts constantly cycle back up.

as they will again this year

Yeah because they had one of the greatest qbs of all time along with 2 AMAZING receivers

I think Texans still take the division (will take more than one crappy game to get me to change my mind) but it's not like colts are some powerhouse for reasons other than manning

dude, I'm talking through the Colts entire history. Unitas,Jones,Harbough,Manning,Luck.. They always cycle back up and make playoffs no matter who the QB is. Luck was in a conference championship 2 years ago. Manning is yesterdays news.

one bad game? the team just sucked ass against a 3rd string QB when the defense is supposed to be their strength. Its all down hill from here.

I'm just talking about this year. I'm concerned about this team based on what I've seen so far. Mostly due to injuries but also , the same old weaknesses are popping up.

But yeah, I'm not worried about their future of anything . No offense to Texans, Titans or Jags fans but win a title, heck get to a SB before I'll start to worry about you.

I hope so. But I also know Ryan Grigson is a bad GM and if we want to continue to own this division he might have to go. So I'm hoping that happens soon.

Typically unless there is a discussion specifically about all-time teams or about the history of NFL franchises, someone who says a team is good or bad is referring to right now. For example, the Niners stink. Yes, I am aware that they have five rings. But currently, and for the past few years, they stink. And it would be pretty dang stupid to say that they are going to win the Super Bowl this year because they have a good team history.

context and variables. Where am I saying the Niners will be good now because of the 80s and losing with Kaepernick? They do suck.
they have sucked for 2 years.

The Colts on the other hand still did well with bad breaks last year. With a healthy Luck they are superior again and the season will map out that way even though they lost to start season.

And it would be pretty dang stupid to say that they are going to win the Super Bowl this year because they have a good team history

no it wouldnt. Its a given that teams like them and Pitt and Denver and NE keep going. Team history seems to repeat itself quite nicely.

I agree with the part about Luck being healthy they have a better chance than the rest of the AFC South. No question about that.

But the reason the Colts had 'bad breaks' last year was because Andrew Luck has been knocked down more than any other QB in the NFL since he came into the league. The focus from the front office should have been o-line the mili-second after Andrew Luck's name was called in 2012...yet they draft these mediocre wideouts and sign 33 year old RB's. Grigson is an idiot and has opened up a tiny little window of hope to the rest of this dreadful division. And that irks me.

Slick play by Wentz... slicker run by Sproles.

That's what always made me mad about the Chargers. Rivers is great with protection but not so much without it. At least Luck can run.
