Are you referring to the amount of money left on this years cap? Next year the numbers will be different for all of the players I mentioned.

I know you REALLY want to prove the Cowboys messed up by trading Micah but the fact is they are actually better especially financially. Ferguson, Tyler Smith, and a resigned GP is a pretty good trade off for shipping Micah out. Not to mention if they are able to trade for Maxx Crosby or Trey Hendrickson (with the picks from the Micah deal). No matter how you look at it that’s a win for Dallas.

Crosby’s is actually more over the first 2 years but then gets significantly cheaper over the last 3 years of the contract. Hendrickson’s contract should be cheaper simply because of his age.

Yea if they obtain Crosby it will be as if they just paid Micah. Financially they will be in the same hole they said they wanted to avoid when they traded Micah.

When all is said and done if they end up trading for someone it won’t be Crosby or Hendrickson. It will be a defender that is not highly priced.
