Immobile pocket passer behind suspect OL? What could go wrong?

Took Bill O Brien one half to realize his huge mistake. Simply put, if your QB isnt mobile, you better have a great OL. And if you have a great OL, you'd better have an accurate pocket passer. Anything less is not maximizing ROI

should note: the cowboys edge rush game is average at best IMO. G-men are in a lot of trouble. Think it's rebuild time, and the first step is to let Eli go. Might get a mid-late pick for him (Jax?) but I can't see success in their immediate future. They have some good young pieces (Apple, Collins, OBJ, Engram, Shepard) but beyond that I'm not sure who else needs to stay. Probably some high potential youth I'm not currently aware of, but I think the point still stands

Giants O-line might be the worst in the league. Poor Eli is getting hammered today...not even his fault today.

I'm certain Seahawks fans will disagree with your assessment.

I'm sorry but I think that is kind of ridiculous. To rebuild a team that just finished 11-5 last year? I don't think you should ever actively rebuild (like trade all your good players to tank or something) in the NFL because you don't control all the players you draft for as long.

And I don't think you should EVER trade a good starting QB until you have an adequate replacement. I think the only time you should really actively tank is if you have lost for years and can add a ton of draft picks through trades. Like Dallas did by trading Walker. Or what the Browns are doing now. It seems the Jets and Bills are kind of doing it too but no way should a big market do it. The thing with the NFL is, if you are a savvy drafting team, you can get a QB in a later round...Brady was taken in 7th and Wilson in like 3rd. But sometimes even if you have a mid or late first round pick, you can still get one of the top QBs (like the Packers getting Rodgers at like 16 or whatever).

In the NFL it is so easy to be good any year (for most all teams) if you stay healthy and have good coaching and don't have bad breaks. That's what makes the NFL so great. It's way more unpredictable because almost every team has a chance at the start of the year, at least for the playoffs. You see worst to first fairly often, relatively speaking.

Poor Brandon Marshall, does he still come on inside the NFL?

If I was a Giants defensive player I'd be pretty pissed right now.

Marshall is a cancer. Everywhere he goes, things eventually go sour. Miami, Denver, Chicago, Jets. It's likely only a matter of time before **** hits the fan with the Giants.
