Chiefs played like pretenders all season but still so far this has to be the most dominant super bowl in history. I dont think Chiefs passed the midfield.

Only suspense at this point is whether the Chiefs can get some garbage time scores.

Now will they say it was the OL that let Mahomes down, like the game vs. the Bucs?

Or are they going to put some blame on him for those two ints. which led to 14 points for the Eagles?

For all his talent, the Chiefs have turned him into a game manager the last couple of seasons, just do enough to win close games, with the help of the refs.

They were content with barely scraping by, never tried to expand that offense. There is no reason Mahomes can't put up big numbers like Allen or Jackson. They need to put some weapons around him and get a better OL. Sure they won a couple of rings with this strategy of defense keeping games close, needing Mahomes to make one or two key drives to win games.

That was the Giants under Parcells. He was going to let a dominant defense try to win games by holding opponents under 17 points and letting no-name QBs game manage wins for him.

It can be an effective strategy, especially in an era of parity, but it's a boring style of football.
