Ties count as half a win. So if the Eagles lose their next game and the Cowboys win theirs, Dallas would still be behind by .5 W.

Always happy to help newer fans like you understand the game.

Imagine a scenario where the eagles finish the season at 10-7 and the cowboys finish the season at 9-7-1. A certain chiefs fan might be surprised at who wins the nfc east in that scenario.

Your scenario has the cowboys playing a 16 game season.

Lolll you’re right. I meant 10-7 for eagles and 9-7-1 for cowboys. Fixed

Point remains, eagles win in this scenario. Really, the cowboys need to win 2 more games than the eagles the rest of the way, that’s when the tie works in their favor. Both teams having the same amount of wins favors the cowboys because of that tie.

Earlier in the year I had the cowboys losing to the lions.
No only losing but giving up a minimum of 40 points.
But now with Laporta and ST Brown being out and the lions pass defense so shaky I actually have hope for the cowboys winning on Thursday.

The eagles beat them so you should be fine.
