rams score, they are an alright team i think, but their in the wrong division

The Rams are gonna go for a Wild Card next year, I would not be surprised if 3 teams in the NFC West make it next year but it's tough. But yeah they'll be older and have a top 3 pick from the Redskins + their own pick.

I liked Armstead in the draft process, I really did. He was easily the best player regardless of position during Shrine Game week last year, and he was demonstrably better than Lane Johnson (the fourth overall pick) during his time at Senior Bowl week. But this is trial by fire with dire implications; if the Saints lose they’ll likely wind up as the fifth seed, which means a Wild Card trip to either Philadelphia, Chicago or Green Bay. They’re not winning any of those games. That’s a lot to put on a rookie making his debut.

Panthers 30, Saints 25

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks (-10.5): I was talking to a buddy of mine the other day (hi Rico!) and he’s a conspiracy theorist as well as a 49ers die-hard. His contention is that the Seahawks will lay down to let the Cardinals win, which sets up a Week 17 game in Arizona between the Cardinals and 49ers for the final NFC Wild Card spot. Yes, he actually believes Pete Carroll loathes Jim Harbaugh that much.

I think Rico is crazy, but there’s just enough method to his madness that I cannot rule out the possibility of the Cardinals dialing up the improbably upset. I wouldn’t wager even one Uzbek som, which is worth less than a penny, on his inkling, but it does intrigue me. Carroll is absolutely that petty.

Gotta bring this up from Iceness' column on main page. First off, if the Saints lose today and the Niners win their last two games, SF will be the 5th seed, not NO.

2nd, even if Arizona wins today, all the Niners have to do is win against Atlanta on Monday night and they are in the playoffs. So even if Seattle lays down, which would be stupid to do because again, if the Niners win out and Seattle loses both games, then the Niners would actually be the NFC West Champs.

They would be better not to, Clemens has been just as good or better. I actually wouldn't be surprised if they trade down again for more picks but we'll see.

I get that's strategy, hell I did that last year with the baseball contest the last few days of it, but I only did it when I got it in on time.

I know it's only 3 minutes late and the games didn't really start and if someone were just late with normal picks I wouldn't have any real reservation, but I strategized as well by waiting til literally 1PM to put my picks in just for the reason of stopping El from being able to do that and he waits til after anyway.

IDK man, pretty Busch League TBH.

Nothing that can really be done now, if he had to change picks or whatever he'd get an even bigger advantage.

:-?

it wasn't particularly my strategy, i forgot to make the picks and didn't have time to research so went against whoever had the last post, wasn't waiting for you to post or anything. i think greatness is first place anyway, if that was my strategy all along it would've made more sense going against him instead.

but i could see why you would be upset, if you guys want to scratch my picks that's fine by me.

Nah, not looking for any extreme reaction or to change them, just a little annoyed at it.

Whatever, if what you're saying is true, it is what it is.

Also I haven't added up my picks in awhile, I just assumed I was in first when you went directly against mine, I was in first a couple weeks ago, I'm assuming it's within like 2 picks for 1st and 2nd right now.

last standings 2 weeks ago have us tied and greatness is up by 1, cbf to count last 2 weeks but i don't think i've fallen far enough to do something like this if i had enough time.
