Good to know. Does Espn do mocks with IDP setup? I'd like to get a feel for what round certain players come off the board.

I couldn't find an IDP mock on espn, but I found a mock draft that was already done. JJ Watt went 53 and the next guy was Lavonte David at 89 and Reshad Jones at 94. Khalil Mack then at 98 and NaVorro Bowman at 104.

Oh wait, and Kuechly went 54. The guy writing analysis thought that was too high for them though. His rational is that they won't produce as many points as other guys in the range but I think the more important thing is how much more do they produce than the next best guy at the position? During an ESPN draft, you will get to see their points from last year. You could also join a real one just for fun and to test it. I usually do. Last year I think I had 4 on espn.

Yeah, I couldn't remember if espn included IDP. I've done their mocks previously. Just completely new to IDP in general. It sounds like those picks are done at the end of the draft. Btw, DP & OP are designated offensive & defensive players, right?

Yes, you will probably want to start a QB at OP. I was going to put 2 QB slots but with 10 teams and probably 3 QBs on each team, there might be weeks if someone's gets injured or has a bye or both where they only have 1 QB available, so in this case, you could plug a WR or RB in there.

DP can be DL, LB or DB. I think I usually use a LB as they get the most points and tackles. DL's get the least I think. I also added 2 IR spots so if you have injuries to good players your bench doesn't get depleted.

Not that I know of, but the defensive players typically don't go until the last few rounds except for a guy like JJ Watt who might go early. I don't take any of them until the very end because their stats don't typically differ THAT greatly. There are usually about 10 guys at each position at least that do well. Though last year I picked up some 49er that got like 15 tackles a week. I think he retired and he was only like a second year guy. I think he retired because of concussions even though I don't know if he ever got one but may have given a few.

Chris Borland. He had as many stops behind the line as JJ Watt in the same time frame too. It's a shame he retired. He was concerned about his future health, can't blame him. That would have been two years ago.

Bowman was pretty productive last year as far as IDP leagues go.

Yeah, I was sorry he retired too as I was a fan just from his fantasy stats. I knew he must be impressive to watch. Though he probably wouldn't have been much of a sleeper for me last year.

I remember I had to drop him last year because I had too many players I didn't want to drop but I figured no one may realize how much this guy has broken out and I don't know if anyone else will put him first on waivers so I got him back.

What about Labor Day? I know some people might be out of town but if not that seems like it could work for people as their days could be open. Last year I did a realgm one for the Suns forum on a Sunday but that's because I had one participant from Greece so the time difference was huge. This guy didn't even know football and he won the league and also won our Premier Roto Fantasy Basketball league last year after winning our roto D League (second tier league) in his first year playing and won our h2h Fantasy Basketball league two years ago. He nearly won our mock draft competition too.

Oh cool, I didn't know Zero Tolerance was in it. He was in my last year one of the Suns forum. I have at least one more and probably two so I think that would fill it up.

I'm in too.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

It's full. If we have more interest we can either expand to 12 (but that is a little tough in 2 qb leagues but super competitive) or start a second league. I don't mind being in 2 or running 2. With two and a half weeks left, we might get more interest.

So is there anyone who would have a problem with drafting a week night around 8 Eastern? Or possibly on a Saturday or Sunday morning sometime?

Someone already said after 7 PT. That's 10 ET. The weekend might be best, but we will have to decide when. Typically if they are with people across the country I do it sometime around 7 PT and 10 ET. It only takes about an hour and a half, and most of the important picks are done within an hour and then you can just set up a draft card if you want to leave.
