Re: 2020 Realgm Fantasy Football thread
I understand your side of the argument. Sometimes I get a bit hot under the collar. Like I said to Jack in a PM earlier, DC's change their schemes every week depending on their match up. Say I take Chris Jones from the Chiefs. he has a couple monster games and them the rest of league has to make an adjustment to deal with him. Then all of a sudden he is getting double and tripled teamed and other guys on the team are getting all the tackles, int's, etc,. I watched Bob Lilly and Randy White get doubled and tripled teamed their whole careers for about two decades. Granted they made double digit pro bowls and all pro's, but scrubs like Harvey Martin John Dutton, Jethro Pugh, George Andre and others reap the benefits of the stats because of their dominate play. And that is what is going to happen here.

So the draft is currently set for Sunday, September 6th at Noon Pacific (just two weeks away). Does this time not work for anyone?

Re: 2020 Realgm Fantasy Football thread
I've also added an OP "Offensive player", and prefer that over the option of having 2 QB's.
With the "OP", you have the option of starting a 2nd QB or any offensive player (Flex) of your choosing. Most will likely want to start 2 QB's each week. But just a reminder that this is a 12 team league. So QB's might be harder to come by.
Roster
QB
RB (2)
WR (2)
TE
Flex
OP (1 Offensive starter)- QB/Flex
DP (1 Defensive starter)
D/ST
K
Bench (7)
IR (2)

Since when did we go to a 12 team league. I didn't sign up for that.

Umm why are we still playing on an archaic waiver system?

I think most people will want to stick with traditional waivers. But, I will get a poll up & running....

Re: 2020 Realgm Fantasy Football thread
Anyone who has ever played with faab has never gone back to traditional waivers. I didn't even realize that was still a thing. Get with the times people, it'll make the league a lot more engaged and competitive.

How do you bid on players? Do we have a pool of money or something?

This works better for 12 team leagues (as I mentioned via PM) because with 12 teams and 2 QB leagues, not everyone can have 3, so in bye weeks, the teams that don't get screwed.
Also I stress to everyone to show up for the draft, because with autodraft it won't assign you QBs in a 2 QB league since they will go faster and the QBs will not be ranked as high, particularly once you get past like 15 QBs, and especially 20...it will keep assigning you higher ranked positional players and fill your QB slot last.
If you set up a draft card because you won't be there, you need to put QBs higher, and probably put all of them in your list once you get down far enough....like past 120 players....just throw all QBs in there.

I know, it's more competitive, but you can do it! I believe in you with all your expert fantasy history.
