Chargers can't stop the Vikings. They were lucky to stop them from a TD on the last drive. Vikings had it inside the 5 but got a hold penalty. James nearly intercepted it in the end zone though.

I've been thinking the Vikings are vastly underrated all year and even picked them in this game. They have had 4 pt or less losses to the Cards, Ravens, Bengals and Cowboys showing they can play with anyone. Their other loss was a 7 pt one to the Browns.

Obviously you know all this but that was the reasoning for me picking them. Wasn't confident the Chargers could beat them. At best for the Chargers I thought it would be a close one like those others, though the Chargers got crushed by the Ravens.

They need to get tougher on both sides of the ball to have a chance.

Vikings look solid as usual.

Yeah, that's kind of how the Chargers were a lot of last year. they were beating teams like KC, TB and NO badly and then allowed big comebacks and lost close ones, all early in the season.

They haven't really gotten those type of leads against good teams this year. All their games are tight except a couple of their losses.

we also almost lost to a winless lions team so we really can play with anyone

Not sure Allen could have gotten to that one, but if not good acting to make it look like he was going to catch it so the defender had to interfere him.

Should be a good one. I'm pulling for the Eagles too, but of course the Chargers. I think I will pull for a tie tonight.

A couple of years ago he was just a young third down change of pace back for Melvin Gordon until everyone realized he's better, though I thought he was better ever since he was a rookie backing up Gordon, averaging more ypc.
