I never got to see the Cowboys wear their original royal blue jersey road uniforms at home. Landry hated the blue jerseys. I loved them.

That’s where the “blue jersey jinx” comes from. Landry hated them and even Jimmy and Troy weren’t fond of them. They rarely wore the blue jerseys and when they did they lost about half the time.

If I was a Cowboys fan I can't imagine wanting a blue jersey over a white one, for any player. And for any jerseys I do have, I never get white ones.

The Cowboys white home jersey became iconic in the 90’s. The blue ones do look better though. Out of all their jerseys though the best one in my opinion is the blue with white shoulders and blue star on the sleeve.
