Worse competition than Allen and Jackson, Colts being less stacked than the Eagles creating the feeling Taylor carried to them could help, and two A+ running back seasons in a row could create feeling it's time to give one MVP again. Otoh I'd probably bet against the Colts getting the 1 seed at this point which could cost him, it seems like the Pats schedule is set up for them to roll unless they go 0-2 against Bills and Ravens.

Rams are the 5th seed now. No one from a 5th seed would win a mvp these days, he probably would have to achieve some crazy statistical milestone.
