Another year of rinse and repeat. Really. :noway:  I guess after honoring and fulfilling my avatar bet this year, I will have to leave it blank next season. I'm hearing Bill gets along very well with Jerry, sadly. However, as much as I would love for Bill to be at North Carolina, I can't see it. Granted, the Tar Heel football program hasn't won the ACC Since 1980 when a player named Lawrence was on the team. So there is some historical intrigue to go along with all the other factors including putting the football program on the big boy list with their basketball program. And he would have complete control.
Bill needs 15 more wins in the NFL for most wins all time cementing his NFL legacy. Deep down I believe this is his main focus. He wants that record. Cowboys and Jaguars appear to be at the moment the most likely places being considered. Personally I would like to see Bill go to the Bengals.

There are many people I get along very well but I would never work with. The fact that he even agreed to an interview is telling, either interest in NFL has cooled or part of him dont want to deal with chaos of a bad ownership.

Perhaps your right. Maybe Bill is no longer interested in the current chit shows going on in Dallas and Jacksonville.

I understand things in Sa Fran have gotten pretty bad (the city and the team) but have you guys also forgotten how to read? Just answer the question, do you believe that Belichick is going to be coaching the Tar Heels next year?

My bad, I thought you were smart enough to pick up on the fact I dont care who coaches Tar Heels. It is called an interview not an orientation, employers dont hire everyone they interview. Also nobody interviews for a job they are overqualified for unless they are desperate or want to change sectors.

My only claim he isnt going to Cowboys, outside of that he can manage your mcdonald's for all I care.

Sheesh while googling around this Belichick Tar Heels thing, came across the fact that Bill (72) has a 24 year old girlfriend. Kind of gross TBH considering he is old enough to her grandfather.

Anyway....He's coming to Dallas

He's been hanging around UW's campus a lot as of late. His Son is the DC at Washington. So yeah, I could definitely see him open to the idea of taking a college job.

I'm sure he is, but at the end of the day THE STAR will be too powerful for him to overcome.

God's team. Bill knows we will open the roof for God to watch him win games. And he won't be able to pass that up.

I heard today that one of Bill Belichick’s demands is that his son Stephen (DC in Washington) be brought over to be his replacement when he retires. That’s the whole reason he’s entertaining North Carolina, to get his son a job.

Jedd Fisch was on Bill's staff at one time. That's how Steve got the DC job at UW this past year. If Bill takes the Carolina job, I'm sure the plan would be for Steve to join him again on his staff.

Bill has spent a lot of time around UW's practices & campus this year. So, it doesn't really surprise me that he would be open to the idea of taking a college job. It might be more appealing for him. Especially if it's not a given he'll have full control over an NFL team again.

You hire Bill, you also get his coaching tree (His Son, Matt Patricia, Josh Mcdaniels, etc.)

Low pressure college job is a perfect retirment play tbh. In every room he is in kids are going to be in awe so he wont have to deal with big egos, his assistants will do most of the leg work and he'll watch the best recruits flock just by stamping his name, and he'll be in total control.

Beats dealing with crap owners and multimillion dollar egos at 72.

Yup. It's why the whole Cowboy angle didn't make sense. Does anyone really think he's willing to put up with Jerry & all of his BS? The only people who do might be a small group of Cowboy fans lol.

Bill just left Robert Kraft. An owner with a huge ego that often clashed with Bill. Yet Jerry is Kraft on steroids.

Bill wants to be in control. He doesn't want an owner who speaks to the media after games.
