I think people overrate supporting casts based on receiving talent. One of the reasons that people always give Romo too much flack, because the Cowboys had so much "talent". Skill positions get way overrated.

I think post 2004 Brady and Manning both win so many games and make teams appear much more talented and deeper than they actually are, that they make unrealistic expectations for their respective team, and it's hard to keep beating teams that have more talent every week, deep into the playoffs.

both those qbs make their teams a lot better than they should be
