That would undo much of the moves, Darnold is not going to give you anything except for worse picks and take up cap space. Use your cap and high picks next draft to build your line and defense, then see which quarterback available next year.

I'd be fine with a cheaper option like Cousins on a 1- or 2-year deal. But I think they prefer Darnold. He's a better fit with Kubiak.

Jags signed Jourdan Lewis for 3 years, $30 million ($20 million guaranteed)

Seems a bit weird, like he's a slot guy and Jarrian Jones who's already on the roster was a good slot CB for us last year as a rookie. I guess they want him to play outside now?

Plus, Lewis is 29, so he's not really young anymore. He seems like a good player and it's not a ton of money, just kinda underwhelming as a first signing.

Nick Mullens signed to be Trevor's backup.
