Ya it’s weird.
He thinks the cowboys are a joke and a poorly run franchise so it’s a difficult journey for him to accept that his team has a longer drought. Hence the rationalization and glorification of SB losses is better than not making it to a NFC title game. Must cling to anything. For him not to see the similarities is astonishing to say the least.
I dont see how any of that is relevant in a Cowboys thread but, I am a lifelong Chiefs fan. You guys have been pussy losers 30 years longer than I have.
State Of Cowboys Union; Today And The last 30 years. Where do the Cowboys have it all wrong and where is it going?

Well then that’s ok.
As long as you’re not a 49er fan doing it. That would just be silly.
Not as silly as talking about Niners in a Cowboys thread.
What is there to talk about regarding the Cowboys. Him and Micah can't even comes to terms or even face the reality of their own team. All that is left to do for them is to troll now. I've learned so much and all I need to know regarding how Cowboy fans are dealing with the current reality of their team.

I was considering someone off the Niners staff until I saw Brian Griese. No one else really jumped out for me.
I’d really prefer someone off Shanahan's or McVay’s coaching tree. And Josh McDaniels ain’t that guy.
Yeah those are proven to be the right coaching trees to target. I like Nick Sorensen but he is a defensive guy and probably not going to get offers after this season, even though Niners defense has been better than last year despite playing with bunch of backups all year.
Mike LaFleur worked both with Shanahan and McVay, his older bro hasnt been that bad either I would give him a look.
I actually think a defensive guy would be a good hire this time around. The last two HC’s have been known for their offensive background (results are what they are - mixed) and it might be a good time to take a step back in the other direction.

UNC would be a big player in recruiting circles which is 70 percent of the game in college football. Deion already proved you can get results just by getting good recruits and Bill is ten times the coach Deion is.
Sounds like he has already planned it all too.
Even with Belichick UNC would not out recruit the larger programs like Bama, Georgia, Texas, and Texas A&M. They would get a couple of players they might not have normally been able to recruit but they still won’t be one of the top schools when it comes to recruiting.
Lol forget Georgia Texas, UNC doesnt even have the expectations of a program like Penn St. Give them a couple ACC titles and a top ten finish it would be the best result they've had in couple generations.

For you it's just Mahomes and that's it
That is the extent of your football knowledge.
You actually have the same thought process of what it takes to win as my 7 year old.

Okay I processed it and came to the conclusion that I'm still a fan and I don't want to run away like a little b*tch.
At least I wasn't born in Cleveland I guess. But hey if I was? Dawg Pound for life baby.

Awesome. Enjoy the next 5 years.Keep those posters of Dak, Jerry and McCarthy on the wall. Might want to consider framing them before they become vintage.
Sounds much better than hiding in a Mahomes jersey.

EL Tourco is right. First the Niners, and now Mahomes in a Cowboys thread. You had a hard time graduation from high school, didn't you.

Well this is the last post for me in this thread. I've learned and gotten everything I needed to know. You might want to consider taking this thread and retiring back to the Cowboys forum. 98% of the general poster don't agree with you and Mariner especially when you can't even deal with the reality of your own team, come up with at least a reasonable vision moving forward. Most of your posts are nothing but attempts to derail this thread. Maybe we can chat on other issues when you get out of fantasy land.

I disagree. This should be retired to Niners or Chiefs forum, there is very little Cowboys discussion here in the "State of the Cowboys"

They need some help in the Cowboy forum these days. They haven't even had a weekly game thread since they got blown out by the Saints in week to. Its dead. Nobody goes in there anymore to read about the next sequel of fantasy Island. So now they have invaded the general forum with their idealistic views and opinions for all of us to get our jolly's.Re: State Of Cowboys Union; Today And The last 30 years.
