I kinda figured sweaty J and Milton Williams would both be gone. Sucks to lose both but like I said from the beginning I think Baun and Becton are more important to bring back

Yeah that probably hurt his market, he was an all pro before the injury. Still a great guy to have on your team.

Washington is honestly smart for doing this. I don't blame them. The NFC is wide open again since all of the elite QB's are in the AFC. Philly isn't unbeatable. They have a 3 year window with JD on his rookie deal. I'm not surprised

So Pete Carroll chose Geno over Russell a few years ago and this year, after becoming HC of the Raiders, he could have signed Russ but chose instead to trade draft assets for Geno, who's looking for a big contract, probably more than what Russ will likely get.

Russ tried to get Pete fired in Seattle. The relationship soured between the two. That's why he ultimately was traded.

Pete & Geno have a great relationship. He loves Geno. That's his guy.

Russ basically burned bridges in both Seattle & Denver. The same might be true in Pittsburgh as well if you believe the rumors.
