Damn it, bjj. I never thought of that angle. I was thinking 30 million tied up in a knucklehead wr and rb, a mental block when it comes to the Patriots, a qb who is half checked out, a division rival who's had their number for the last three or four years and a coach who is starting to be scrutinized. That's how I want to see things, but now you have me paranoid.

anyone think that the Steelers won't win the division this year?

I thought they were good before they got Joe Haden, so that only makes them better I assume. Anyone know why the Browns let Haden go?

The two Browns fans I know both said the same thing... salary dump along with his history of not being able to stay healthy. One of them also said it gives the Browns cap space to cut Brock Lobster and eat his salary. Not sure about that one but I suppose there is a little logic there.

Ravens fan says they won't... I think it comes down to the wire between Ravens/Steelers like almost every other year. Ravens defense will be top 5 without question, the offense is all up to inconsistent Joe Flacco. He has better options this year with Woodhead, Macklin and healthy tight ends.

I think Haden is overrated but Steelers offense will be top notch again, they have too many weapons. Ravens added a bunch of CBs and safeties that can match up with Steelers so we will see.

Steelers run away with the division this year. Hayden is a huge upgrade for their putrid defense.

I'm even starting to feel bad for the Browns now. They just can't ever catch a break. Myles Garrett out for about 7 weeks now. I think this team is jinxed.

Had to go way back to find this thread. But Burrow is one of my favorite QB's of today and Papi can keep us all updated with all things Ravens.

With a first place schedule this year and a healthy Joe Burrow, can the Bengals put themselves in a position to be the favorite team to prevent the Chiefs from winning 3 in a row?

Yes, but not in the way your thinking with your one track mind. It might take you another couple years to catch on. For fantasy and betting reasons is the only clue I will give you for now. :pityfool: I guess this is the way Egals fans act when they know their own team stinks going into a season and they don't want to talk about them. :talkhand:

Oh, it's because he won't be able to score fantasy points for you.

What is there to talk about the Eagles? Sirianni will get fired after the season and Howie will draft Hurts' replacement.

I also have the Bengals in some early super bowl and other early season prop bets. Wagers, betting and fantasy is therapeutic and a perfect way to stay engaged in all things NFL when you know in the end how things will end for your team in the end. Pretty much been like this since I joined RealGM 10 years ago. Got to find a way to survive the season.

See. This is why you are becoming more likeable. You would rather talk about the Cowboys and always keep them relevant even when they suck. :kiss

We can talk about the Orioles if you want.

I just got a bad feeling about the Eagles since Sirianni wasn't fired last season. I like this season's coordinators a lot better, but even if they do well, what is Sirianni but our version of Jason Garrett?

In an AFC North football thread. Talking baseball doesn't go over too well. But yes, would love to talk about the Orioles.

Ah yeah !!! One of my super bowl early season prop bets I have the Bengals and Lions @ 28/1. Is that a good enough reason?
