I wouldnt get your hopes up. The dude is flat out bad.
lol yeah, you really can't judge until they start playing with pads in training camp & then how they ultimately look during the preseason. You're not even allowed to hit in practice during this time of the year. So, everyone looks good for the most part without pads.

Yup. I would pay more attention to the reports of players looking bad vs the reports of players looking good.
And when it comes to Elam, Buffalo is my 2nd team I root for. I’ve watched pretty much every snap Elam has taken.
I remember hearing reports that Andrew Booth was impressing early on with Dallas. But ended up with his limited time playing last year for Dallas. QBs had a perfect QB rating while throwing against him last year haha.
Elam is just a special teams guy. Dude is straight trash when it comes to covering WRs.

Probably should’ve signed Rodgers haha.
I think is a championship caliber roster with 2 big question marks.
QB
Secondary
But ya the “questionable” reports of JJ continue. Saw Ross Tucker and Cowherd have even started talking about how JJ hasn’t looked good. So the reports are now no longer just Vikings insiders quietly talking about it

The roster is good. But you don't want Sam Howell getting snaps. Trust me.

Jaipur Elam sounds like could be the first Indian Pro Bowler.

Only week 7 against the Eagles.
Is Seattle playing Philly this year? If so, Drew Lock gets the start!!

No, but also Drew Lock's two career starts against the Eagles pale in comparison to Sam Howell's.

Idk...I thought it was pretty accurate though lol.
You've got the optimistic fans, the pessimistic fan (bjj), and Philly fans all in one.

Don’t get me wrong though, I’m optimistic not delusional. I still fully expect the Cowboys to **** the bed once the playoffs start. To be more specific I fully expect Dak to **** the bed once the playoffs start.
I am however optimistic that they will have a good-great regular season. They had a ton of holes going into the off season (and still have a couple) but addressed almost all of them. They still need a legit lead RB and they still have questions in the secondary. The OL is also young and still unproven.
Other than that they are solid across the board.

I would agree for the most part.
I still think the Tackles are a potential weakness against teams with a strong pass rush. But the interior of the line looks good. As long as Dak remains healthy, they should be a top 10 offense.
They should also be better defensively with a new staff in place. They probably can get to 11 or 12 wins if everyone stays relatively healthy.

The whole OL is really young and unproven. The only one we know for sure is good is Tyler Smith. Beebe looks good but has to prove he can do it again and like you said the tackles are suspect. From all reports are though both showed up with great attitudes and in shape. I really think the new OL coach is going to make a huge difference.
With that said it’s going to be interesting to see who emerges as the lead RB. I was talking about Jervonte Williams the other day but the RB I’m excited to see is Phil Mafah. He’s a big RB and got a lot of experience at a big school in a big conference. It’s going to be fun to watch the competition. I also don’t think Miles Sanders makes the team.

Both Dallas & Seattle have young offensive lines. Among the youngest.
Cross & Lucas>>>>>Guyton & Steele
Tyler Smith>>>>>Christian Haynes
Zabel & Booker= Rookies
Beebe & Oluwatimi= League average Center

Beebe was a rookie though. He has a lot more upside.

I didn't even know Miles Sanders was on the Cowboys now. All the PSU/Eagles fans who hyped Sanders for the first 4 years of his career are gonna love that.
Anyway, if he's without injury he should be pretty good.
