I think UCLA was trying to be cheap. For few months it seems everyone knew he wanted out of that job, most other power 5 programs would have sent him packing. They are going to get big 10 money in few years, no need to be so worried.

I'm not the least bit angry or upset lol. I'm just stating the obvious. The guy weaseled his way out of UCLA. Putting them in a really tough spot. Especially in regard to recruiting. He did a lousy job.

My preference has always been Grubb. But there's a rumor going around that they're waiting to hire someone on KC's staff.

Whoever it is probably wont last very long as long as Geno is at the helm, that's probably why they are struggling to attract good candidates.

It's late in the cycle. Macdonald was hired a week ago.

You got Grubb, which I think is a great hire.

For Kelly, I don't blame him at all for wanting out of CFB. CFB is quickly turning into a mess.

Seahawks will be scary if they can get the right quarterback

They've definitely upgraded on the coaching front. Going from Carroll to Macdonald & Grubb is such a drastic change. Two of the better minds on both sides of the ball.

Coaching matters.

Defense played well through 2.5 to 3 full quarters.

Last drive of regulation and in OT, it didn’t hold up.

But Bosa threw him under the bus saying they weren’t prepared for Mahomes running.

Really? All game long they rushed contain and Mahomes wasn’t running for big gains or extending plays until that OT drive, maybe the last drive of regulation.

Bosa had 10 pass pressures which was great but he also lost contain on 4th and 1when he tried to crash down on what he thought was a handoff to Pacheco up the middle.

Did Wilks told him to crash down? Well it was 4th down so did Wilks tell him or a teammate via helmet radio to crash in?

Wilks had a great game plan for most of that game.

Wilks did OK. THE #2 pick in the draft chase young looked tired down the stretch. And they were leaving him 1v1 most of the game. I recall the Rams Superbowl, no way you leave Aaron Donald OR Von Miller 1v1. They also had a 3rd guy applying heavy pressure all game long. But the 9er pass rush while doing OK, were non existent in the Key moments down the stretch. It was totally up to the defensive front to win that game when KC had the ball. And they didn't come thru. The defense wins championships, and they couldn't. Props to KC

This isn't a Super Bowl move; it has been expected for a long time. Wilks couldn't scheme for the strengths of his players for most of the season, and the defense underachieved. The drop-off from Demeco and Wilks was night and day.

While the offense was mistake riddled throughout the 1st half. Told my buddy at halftime the Niners were gonna regret all those missed opportunities. They did.

Wilks is a scapegoat.

Maybe they can sign Bill Belichick as their DC. That way they can finally have a winning coach on staff.

Great hire by the Browns !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They already have a great defense and playoff roster and Watson and Chubb will be back as well. If health doesn't become an issue, Browns will be contenders in the AFC next season.
